why Koreans tend to buying gold while shopping? do they try to protect from inflation or what? or do they worry about future devaluation? In Turkey locals tend to buying gold to protect themselves from probable devaluation. what I see the video is clear that all nations have some worries what currencies values would be in near future?

Gold bar vending machines are available in South Korea, India, UAE, Malaysia. Not sure if I missed other countries but it's common for us now.
