Incredible video Eda! Seeing as you always seem to do some kind of research prior to making diverse ASMR, I would love if you could make a “comforting you during an autistic meltdown”, it’s so hard to find autistic inclusive content focused on adults. Everything usually ends up infantilizing us, treating us like kids when reflecting an already vulnerable moment. The video could include things like hair play and skin scratching (after asking permission to touch, because it can be a bad sensory trigger during meltdown), crinkling mint wrappers or essential oil bottle tapping (harsh sensations like mint and strong smell can force your body/nerves to reset), playing with some kind of fidget, giving the person headphones, and other forms of stimming (snapping, nail tapping, arm flapping, etc). I’d say the biggest thing is too avoid loud and sharp noises that can worsen a meltdown. It would mean the world to me, and likely many other autistic fans
Hi Hannah! Just wondering why you would opt for “autistic person” rather than “person with autism”? I thought the second option was to state that you are a person independent of disability therefore making it “better” to use. Just wondering, no hate or anything I’m just genuinely curious. 🙂
@@esmiram5375 Hi, I appreciate the openness and willingness to learn. A lot of people think this way. First, the vast majority of autistic people prefer identity-first language. Now, if an individual tells you that they prefer “person with autism,” call them that! But most people in our community prefer autistic person. That’s because of two things 1) autism is a neurotype that we can never be separated from, we will always be disabled and that’s not always a bad thing; 2) you wouldn’t say “person who is blonde” or “person who is short”, autistic and disabled are just adjectives! There is no harm in using them that way. Finally, the concept of person-first language was designed to make allistic (non-autistic) people comfortable; most of them cannot see us as more than our disability without reaffirming that in the language they use. “Person with autism” is easier to think about because otherwise they might realize that autistic people are not a monolith (and autism is not something that can be cured); we are not all your friend’s train-loving, nonverbal son (although it’s fine if you are). We have our own voices and opinions, even if they aren’t communicated verbally! Allistic people generally don’t want to listen to us; so they infantilize us, they treat us as a burden, and they pray for a cure that physically can never happen. I hope this is at least semi-coherent lol! And if you’re interested in more information I highly suggest looking into autistic creators on tiktok and Instagram, like chloeshayden and reberrabon_bon.

Welcome to the channel!!
I love your channel it's perfect to relax and take anything off my mind.
An idea for a video could be doing a palm reading or something like that. It would be amazing.
You spend time just for us and its always great you deserve a trophy
I love that book and this was really satisfying.
Oh my gosh the sound of the letters when you dragged the pencil over them 🫠
I really liked the part where you softly blew in the mic! It just gave me so many tingles! I was hoping you could include this in some future videos! (Only if you want to, of course) ❤
I literally got the tingles. That has not happened to me in months!
Soooo relaxing 😌
