That has to be exhausting for the actors to repeat the same lines and movements over and over every 30-60 seconds for an entire shift! I hope Universal is at least paying them well
The guy on the left when you first walk into the house is on like a 4 second reset timer, thats around 900 times per hour. She'll likely be in the maze for 6hrs, and she would've said that same line around 5400 times.. I couldn't
@@lefttea It is a recording. I have observed that there is a button under the actor's feet. When they press it, it will play, and then the actor will act accordingly.
I love the small detail at 2:56 in the ghost research facility of the tanks being from an aquarium. You can notice the fish labels on each of the tanks if you look up. A small detail that you barely notice in the movie but they still included it in the house 🤙
Nothing at universal is particularly scary because of the cattle call nature of the haunts. That being said, this looks pretty cool and you can tell the spent a pretty penny on it. Impressive.
@@Lilmanbigloadmost people call it a conga line, basically you're right behind the person in front of you and the person behind you is right behind you
Does anyone else feel like there’s a big ghost missing from the finale of this maze? Like, that gateway Phoebe and Nadeem are blasting should have Garraka in the middle, right?
Can't wait to bring my dad to experience HHN this year! This house is already my instant favorite!! Edit: My dad's first time at HHN went well! My mom and I got a lot of screams out during this one, my dad liked this house
I was really surprised at how low budget Slimer looked! His body and arms should have been translucent with a bright green glowing light placed insight to light him up. How would anyone miss that? Kind of disappointed.
I went over the weekend and I have a feeling camera exposure made it look less hidden. I didn't even see it and the actor jumped right out at me and I actually jumped because I had no idea it was there from ignorance lol it wasn't super scary but it was much more hidden in my experience than seen here. Either way the house was super cool. My first time at HHN
I went there last weekend on November 2nd and it was fun but the entrance was in jimmy Fallon ride and I love the entrance of the tonight show starring jimmy Fallon
This year I think Bloodlines was the weakest, followed by Goblins Feast (which would've been great as a scare zone incorporating a restaurant, but really didn't have enough of an idea to support an entire house), and Slaughter Cinema 2 wasn't all that much better, but it had some really fun ideas that I would love to see as actual grindhouse movies (Mardi Gras Murders, Mummy Strippers, that evil Santa one... they would be a blast as tongue in cheek, low budget grindhouse schlock). My favorite was the candy one, but the museum one was pretty fun, too.
Lol i didnt even see Garakka between the frozen scene at the start and the battle finale (which he was completely absent from in this video???), plus an extra stilt one pacing back and forth in the exit hallway. Pretty sure he didn't come out at all in front of the firehouse and i didnt hear any scares happening there
It looks interesting . If I were to do something like that, I would have the visitors given a ray gun and have them help the team take down the ghosts or make it feel like they are something like that. The houses don't really look that impressive but maybe some people got scared who knows.
@@SkyeTheMobileGamer I’m dissapointed I didn’t get to go last year. Every time Stranger Things comes to Halloween Horror Nights, there’s at least one other badass thing that arrives with it. Last year, it was the last of us.
Universal mazes are well themed and look amazing but every single house has the same alcove jump scares and recorded audio on a loop every two seconds with repetitive actor motions. There is nothing organic about the interactions.
The movie wasn't great and this was an opportunity to re-use costumes and props from the Ghostbusters house they did in 2019 in order to save money but it really does look good.
playing ghostbusters almost completely straight for horror is bizarre. looks like crap. imagine not understanding what made the original great. everything needs to be a cinematic universe now, drain every last drop they can out of it. pathetic.
Wouldn't be a youtube comments section without people being insulting for no real reason. It's HHN. The event is so large and has so many people going through the houses that there isn't really any room for improvisation. Watch videos of local haunts and you'll get the experience you're looking for.
@@Madman6884 no thanks, I'll stick to UK events. Leagues above the USA. As for the other nonsense - how's about Universal put aside corporate greed and limit numbers. That way they'd be able to improve the experience for their guests and staff. If not, my comments still stand. 👍
@@TheMaverick987 if you want amazing themeing then go on a dark ride. These are meant to be scare mazes but they're just not, they're themed walk-throughs with predictable and laughable 'scares.'
@SpikePBB The best mazes are a combination of both. What I'm saying is imagine a maze with a similar setup to Sub Species with the themeing quality of HHN. Like it or not, scare attractions tell at least some level of story. The setting is just as important as the quality of the actors. If either are neglected then the attraction suffers. The Invitiation is proof of that.
Certainly not the most scary house this year, but definitely the most aesthetically pleasing! 🤩🤩

yeah same, good observation
If they didn’t want to do it they wouldn’t do it.

At Universal the "actors" are basically free roaming animatronics😂
No they arent
You see them resetting to their position....I am not blaming the actors if that is universals acting standard.
Lol I thought the same lol

The research facility part looked spot-on from what we saw in the movie
This house looks sick!!!
I was really surprised at how low budget Slimer looked! His body and arms should have been translucent with a bright green glowing light placed insight to light him up. How would anyone miss that? Kind of disappointed.
Why wasn't Slimer done in more blacklight to make him look like he's glowing green and to hide the actor's legs better against a black background?
Probably to make him fit in more into the aesthetics, but i agree, shouldve been glowing

I wish I had been able to go.
Remember Ghostbusters 2016?
Ghostbusters back at universal!
when i saw phoebe i sqealed i was like "ITS PHOEBE AAAAA!"
There’s something cold in the neighborhood.
Who you gonna call? *GHOSTBUSTERS!*
I literally got spat on in that maze😂😂😂😂😂😂😂

4:10 they just replaced this with a static Slimer
Those animatronic look almost like human. So good.

points for doing a decent dan aykroyd
this one is cool
i wonder how much the performers make
1:34 in the film, there’s a frozen man with his hand de attached from his body, spinning the thing. Sure, they got the hand, but not the man.
The man is there. He’s just about 1-2ft away.
1:22 Knowing the ghost has glowing eyes (which is pretty cool ngl) is kinda dumb cause you'll know when it's coming
Omg ahhhhhh is scary me
What ghostbusters frozen empire maze is better I like them both
