Man, I was in the middle of a conversation with a friend about how trending music nowadays isn't what people want to hear but what others force you (in a way) to hear. It's such a shame the artistic spectrum of music gets lost in what's convenient for companies to profit on.

I first discovered this band when I was 21 and heavily abusing alcohol, and in a very negative mental space. I listened to their music, and it touched me in such an emotional manner that now, 3 years later, I attribute them to a main reason I'm doing better.
At the time we don't notice the things that are making us better, but in time the good will sort itself from the bad, with a little bit of effort.
I love good kid. I listen to their songs now, and I laugh, cry, holler, or weep to my heart's content. I couldn't be here without these songs. Thank you, good kid.
