Well I tried to fly my first, sec., third model just like he did in this video...... I now have a large pile of used parts...... but I have little fear of the model shop so off I go to get a new Hanger 9 plane.......... GREAT FLYING SKILLS.

The fire wall can't handle a 60cc engine . in fact a twin cylinder 40 cc tore the fire wall off.
Why not build it stronger so the Saito 60cc would work or the 40 cc could work ?
Also , the CA hinges suck , can't you afford Du-bro hinges ? Not only that , the battery tray doesn't have a door and the pocket the batteries sit in has holes in the walls where the batteries can slide out. The wing bolts and blind nuts they screw into are plastic . Don't think you can remove the plastic blind nuts and install metal ones easily because the plastic ones are larger than
metal blind nuts so the holes will have to be plugged and drill out to fit the metal nuts. Cut outs in the floor was nice of them but mounting things ( receiver ) will require wood to be glued on the floor. The landing gear is a little short for engines using 20" props like a DA35 or DLE 35 . I think better control horns and hardware ( cheap tank ) could have came with a 400.00 plane.

I have just finished putting my Ultra Stick together. I am strictly a scale flyer so opted for electric power with a slightly lighter electric motor and have found balancing the model difficult. Understanding there is a weight difference between the power 160 and my motor it still seems to take a lot of weight to achieve balance. How much weight should one expect to have to add to the front of the model to get it to balance if they had used the recommended motor?

You said "You didn't want to see inside the fuse", and you didn't. So what's the problem? You must be a millennial!

@@clouddancer7624 And obviously you don't know jack about building airplanes or you would have understood...You should learn what sarcasm is, and calling people millennial doesn't make you sound smart.. Did you just learn that term, trying to wear it out?

    1. Both vertical and horizontal stabs were warped.
    2. The wing would not fit into the fuse. Had to dremel out the fuse holes.
    3. Not 3D capable without modifying the aileron servo cavities as large servo horns would not fit...supplied surface control horns are not for 3D and made from soft plastic. Supplied hardware was of poor quality.
    4. Too heavy for a 30cc.
    5. Overpriced. Will never purchase another Hangar 9.
