Very well executed. I had my little gas stick .10 with a .30 on the front out for a blast. Learned to fly on one 28 years agi and its still my all time favorite. I think everyone should have a stick......love them to pieces. ❤
I had one of the first Ultra Stiks many years ago (17), mounted a Saito 180 with pump, it was the most fun plane I ever had at the time. Mix flaps for reflex, ailerons down, dive to the runway at idle and pull out at 5 feet and do a low slow pass, lands on a dime.
My first plane was an Ugly Stick (the kind you had to build) with a K&B .40 on the front. Flew that thing for years until a faulty battery took her out (new batt, cycled twice before installing but failed in flight). Since then I've had many Ugly Stick type planes. My fav was an ARF stick of some brand with a Saito 1.20 on front. This video makes me want to get back into RC.

To this day , one of the best flying planes ive ever had was a 50 dollar arf bigstick from china. It tracked soo good in every orientation. And it was fast too. I have some big gassers and was thinking about getting this stick, it just looks fun and i love the scheme, to me its almost not ugly now
How well did your DLE 35A handle it? I did a maiden on mine yesterday it fly"s great only at half throttle. When I go full throttle it goes straight down. I need the help on trying to figure this out why. No mixes on throttle.
You make it look easy. If we flew that close our safety officer would be in our face so fast, probably why I do that when he's not around, lol. Great flying.
With such an accomplished flier I was surprised that the "wiggle" of the controls at .15sec was accepted as a positive control check. It didn't seem to me that it could be seen that the controls moved in the correct sense. Even if the plane had been previously flown, even only a few minutes prior, something could have failed, for instance, binding due to hinges adrift. Very nice flying, though!!!
hi jay, both models are good to start out with , the ultra stick is a lot more manoeuvrable than the valiant and a bit smaller which makes storage and transporting easier, take a look at our valiant videos and see what you think of the model - th-cam.com/video/J9W_45TonAs/w-d-xo.html

NOOOOOOOO ! seriously ? my god what a terrible tragedy ! I didn't know him very well but spoke to him several times at the shows over the last four years, what a lovely man I feel for his family - so shocked to hear this rich, thanks for letting me know m8 - pete,
I like the ugly stick, but to me on large scale the Decathlon is the way to go... I was expecting more aerobatics; a cleaner hammerhead, avalanche, and low flying inverted. The guy is good at flying, no question about it.
Very well executed.

Nicely done, I've got one of these as well with an RCGF 32. It's a really great plane that flies very well.
Great video! Reminds me of that saying "Fly it like you stole it."
4:02 Harrier Crab-- nice!
Just put a backorder in on one at Horizon. Cant wait, sickest Stick ever.

Perfekt in einem so kleinen Korridor 😊
Beautiful plane and nice flying!!
I love it! I fly it. what a cool ARF. Thx for posting this.
Glad you enjoyed it!
Nice plane and video. You think is possible make a torq roll OK this plane???
Looks great but I hate the paper hinges they use. Should be Robart or something beefier.

Hi I’m a beginner flyer and I’ve been looking for a 2nd would this be suitable because it’s a high wing? Or the smaller 10cc one
ECHO sticks are great second airplanes! My second was the hanger 9 1.20 back in the day with an o.s. 160 fx on it.

Bert Thibodeaux ????????
That is a fun fun plane
I was waiting for the rudder to fall of.
hodně moc dobrý😃😃.
And why would the rudder fall off?
...when you get sloppy and don`t follow the f...ing manual. Like removing the Monocote do get a good glue contact...

Those evolution motors where trash
That piece of shit fly's good now with all that channel mixing. Those things usually died in the first 30 seconds when I was a kid.
Jay Sims that's funny, my old 1.20 stick was my second airplane, and flew excellent with zero computer assistance.
