It’s like a series of lightbulbs Suddenly going off one after another As I watch your classes synthesis. I can only imagine how useful a class would be if you thought it on the electron analog four -and I finally understand what they meant when they say it’s one of the few since it has no sweet spots it’s because it’s an open page you have that much control over the sound in every aspect ...OK or treat in the world of synthesizers the true blessing to run across your class which is very eye-opening it has made some of my old equipment seem new again 🙏 thanks
I love your tutorials. You explain the basics for those that are new to synthesis but also go a bit deeper for those that aren’t new. I’ve been working with synths (now days mostly hardware) but I still pull something from these vids. Def worth watching. I will say that I didn’t truly really “get” some of the concepts until I got into modular and hardware. But vids like these weren’t so readily available. So it was trial and error without knowing what something was actually doing except for knowing how it would affect the sound
Your second sentence describes my thoughts exactly. Daniel's previous videos in the series included details on velocity depth/amount that gave me some "oh wow" moments even though I've been using that setting for years. It's changed my approach to patch design for the better.
One of the most beautiful things on the Hydrasynth is taking the polyphonic aftertouch and mapping it through the mod matrix to the LFO depth, which gives you really expressive control over the modulation being done by the LFO. Especially good for vibrato, where you can push a note into vibrato simply by pushing on the key harder.

It’s seriously took me so long to understand the concept of a The frequency isolated and ultimately it is just breaking down the words in the name of it didn’t make it clear for me. But I think it has an engine which you define characteristics of it it’s really just sound do you know the audible spectrum. Does anyone know how many active cycles or whatever Do you know the audible reconsidering the elephant is operating and has anyone experimented with our family and other Frequencies across the inaudible spectrum? and ?
Any ideas on where to find a list of synths that either have unipolar lfo square waves or an offset to achieve the same thing. It’s very rarely published in the specs and IMO a super important musical requirement for sound design. So far other than the synths in this video, I think it’s just the Sequential stuff. Ableton Analog had an offset but I don’t think it’s capable of making a unipolar lfo. Thanks, great video!

That fade in on the LFO is key for smoothness.
