''ch'' in german sounds like ''r'' and ''rr'' in Brazilian Portuguese, and the ''sch'' sounds like our ''x'' and ''ch'', this video made me confirm that, thank you so much!! such a feeling of relief lol
I am a portuguese speaker and the CH is quite hard. Our throat isn't well used to make sounds like this.. haha. But I am keep trying until i ve got a sore throat :). Anyway, thanks for teaching. Very good video. Obrigado / danke.
Kelvin Cavalcante Pra mim o primeiro caso parece muito com o som de RR: chuRRasco, por exemplo. Já no segundo aparenta ter o som de ch mesmo: caCHorro. (São exemplos do que eu escuto no pt_br)
i know Im randomly asking but does someone know of a tool to get back into an instagram account..? I stupidly lost my password. I love any tips you can offer me
I started learning German one week ago, and I couldn't pronounce the "ch" sound. This is the first video I found that was really helpful. I tested what I learned pronouncing many words on voice recognition applications several times, and never failed. It seems that I learned. Danke!
This lesson is one of the most important lessons in A1. The lesson is well-organized as well by having the summary at the end of the lesson. Well done!
I saw some videos. None of them explained the position of the tongue. I saw this video. You told us the position of the tongue. That's all I needed. Now I'm feeling like a master Thank you Have a wonderful day
Spot on examples! the "huge" sound made a HUGE and immediate click on my head. This is by far the best explanation I've seen about these sounds. Vielen Dank Jenny ;D Liked and suscribed!
Although this is 4 years old this helped me a lot. Words like sprechen und spricht, oder bisschen were challenging for my tongue. I wish I had a tutor as good as as you. Danke schöne!
Ich komme aus Tibet und ich lerne deutsch seit einem Jahr. Heute habe ich deinen Videos gefunden. Das ist sehr schön und sehr gut . Ich lerne und schaue anfangen...
This is by far the most difficult sound (or combination of sounds) in the German language, I keep getting back to this video from time to time to get it right.
thanks god i found you, I started learning Deutsch 1 month ago and still could not figure it out until seeing this video. it really helps. vielen dank Jenny.
I like your old videos ( eg : this video)very much aswell and I am sure others also do .Please don't replace them. You don't need to do that. They are fabulous the way they are!!.
Hi Jenny! Hi Jacqueline! Fantastic, we (learners) love phonetic lessons (vids 18-19-21-22 level A1), it gives us more confidence and helps us to talk. Because the one who hesitates to talk is no only the shy one BUT THE ONE who is NOT SURE HOW TO VOICE WORDS. - Ich liebe diese Videos über die Aussprache - Super, Farid :-]]
hahaha, I was looking for a video like this because I was very confused by the sound the word 'Bisschen' is supposed to make and you used it as an example! Thanks!!
i really like the way you pause and like "listen" or even react to my reaction while watching. subscribing and saving the vid for later. :) thank you!! :)
Danke! Thank you! TH-cam is a great learning resource. Between you, Ania, and Dominik I am on way to learning German. I have learn so much in just a few weeks. Thanks again!
I'm dating a german guy and I wanted to learn german but this "soft ch sound" is really really hard for me to pronounce to the point where I feel a bit shy to speak and practice. My boyfriend was trying his best to help me, by repeating "ich" and "milch", but we could not get anywhere and I was felling a bit down. Today I was watching a minecraft video and the guy talking there said the word "huge". I was instantly knew I've heard that sound before (some people pronounce the h in "huge", and some don't). So I searched for a video and I came across this one. I'm so happy that I have a english equivalent to the "soft ch sound". Thank you so much, the whole video is really nice for german learners.
I've been looking for this type of video for the last few days, trying hard to practice that "ch" sound (from huge), the first one wasn't hard because of my practice with Hebrew. VIELEN DANK! eine große Umarmung von Honduras. Gracias Jenny.
The explanations are great and I don't have any difficulty with the pronunciation, it's just the amount of words and exceptions to remember that make me struggle
Amazing tips, for an italian native speaker like me it was quite hard to reproduce the ch sound ( both soft and hard) but now i'm finally starting to improve
as a Chinese speaker lots of German syllabus are not easy to pronounce, but not impossible if you keep practice!! I can now pronounce ch, r, ö perfectly standing alone, but still make mistakes when speaking in words or sentences...really just a matter of practice..
there is letter in arabic language pronounce like "CH" is (خ) , and there is in Tamazight language pronounce like in "Ich" is (ⴼ) ; this language it's amazing I enjoy it.
''ch'' in german sounds like ''r'' and ''rr'' in Brazilian Portuguese, and the ''sch'' sounds like our ''x'' and ''ch'', this video made me confirm that, thank you so much!! such a feeling of relief lol
Eu ainda tenho a sensação que não é exatamente o "ch" ou "x". Parece que tem algo mais que eu não tô pegando!
(São exemplos do que eu escuto no pt_br)
o som do CH hard eh realmente o som de RR, ja o CH de cachorro eh o som se SCH, para fazer o CH soft tenta imitar uma cobra ou um gato assustado.
The german sounds of hard R, hard CH and H are all used as the Portuguese hard R, so it is confusing.
" imitar uma cobra ou um gato assustado" faleci kkkk
Me parece que a pronúncia desde dois sons esta bem parecida com a pronúncia do r alemão também,
Just a perfect teacher for language! You need an award! Infact international award!!
Haha your wonderful comments are all I need
After learning French, the throat CH sound became easier to me. thanx
