If you, as a religious person, date an Atheist or even an Agnostic, don't expect them to participate in your religion. There needs to be mutual respect and compromise.
The Bible literally says that as a Christian, if you actively try to date a non-Christian, thinking you can "save them" by loving them, you are setting you and them up for a disastrous ending. It's not smart on her end if she doesn't understand that it would be best for her faith, especially raising a child, with someone who agrees. He can make an effort, but if he is so so opposed to it, ultimately it will still be a misalignment in the relationship. smh

I feel bad for her kid. She got pregnant with someone she barely knew, moved back halfway across the world and now wants to get back with her ex to help raise her oopsie baby. And then she said it was all part of god's plan. Like, she's not all there.
In pissed because the way it sounds is she just made the decision to move back and the poor father gets no choice to be in his child's life.

He could have ended it instead of cheating. She doesn't owe him anything tbh. Yeah for real. 4 years ago I broke up with a longtime girlfriend of 5 years largely because of religious differences. Maybe he feels differently than I do/did, but she was Catholic which resulted in a lot of conflicts in our priorities and what we wanted out of the relationship. It seems like he's more hesitant to go back than she is, and I really hope they don't get back together. He doesn't seem interested in being involved with her religious beliefs, and that's going to be difficult for both of them since it's such a big part of her life.

It’s so bad and super common you see it all the time. There are many reasons for it you know maybe people don’t want to be alone there could be some desperation or maybe they hold onto the good moments but it hurts to ignore the cons, you’re only causing yourself more harm. Don’t cling onto those good moments it shouldn’t be that those MEMORIES are the only thing making you want to stay in that relationship. At the end of the day everyone has pros and cons it’s never one or the other but relationships of any kind are to help change or overcome any negatives in a positive way
@@sandcrack0873 For sure, I agree. Loneliness is painful and regret even worse. I've been there and have experienced my fair share of relationships that weren't meant to be. The sad reality is it often takes us repeating the same mistakes to learn. I truly hope they find the closure they need and that they move on to find the happiness they deserve.

Respect if it makes the person uncomfortable and read the room, obviously immediately stop if they don't like it. And so the couple got together again. Eventually the baby was born and he was accepting of raising another child as his own. A few years went by and his distain for Christianity grew over the years until he couldn't take it anymore.
With nothing to lose other than his remaining dignity, he finally got the balls to leave her and close the book for good.
Some say she reached back out to the father in Korea after the breakup but he had already moved on and raised a new family, but he continued to pay child support for his biological son.
And that's what probably happened.

It’s because abusive people are often good at manipulating and lying.
