I went through and bought so many “Data cables and data cords” and it’s still not working bought a rankie micro usb cable high speed data and charging cable Nylon braided charger cord 3 pack 3 feet and it still doesn’t work. I just got mine in the mail today and have everything hooked up in the exact order that the directions call for. The RGB is working for my mouse and keyboard but they have no response. This adapter only supports original Xbox or PS4 controller to connect. Other 3rd party controllers are not supported.
So i do everything right and this used to work for me before but now when I go to plug my controller in, the little xbox light doesn't glow, it used to before but now it no longer does, it doesn't work for me now. Any help? Only issue is the controller won't glow up when I plug it into the adapter, it still vibrates.

I went through and bought so many “Data cables and data cords” and it’s still not working bought a rankie micro usb cable high speed data and charging cable Nylon braided charger cord 3 pack 3 feet and it still doesn’t work. Idk if it’s the model that doesn’t work or the cord the controller or what like everything connects cause I get a good light indicator but still the keyboard doesn’t control my Xbox or any games. I plug in mouse keyboard then controller and still doesn’t work I don’t know if it’s the controller or just the cord. Yo what’s up I got the Xbox series s and I hooked my mouse and keyboard and did everything right and the light turned gold but my mouse and keyboard won’t work with it I don’t know why. I have the chon chow mouse and keyboard do you know if they are compatible with the xim or is it a different issue.

As long as it's an original Xbox controller, it will be fine. This adapter does not currently support other 3rd party controllers, such as Power A, HORI controllers, etc.

I just got mine in the mail today and have everything hooked up in the exact order that the directions call for. The RGB is working for my mouse and keyboard but they have no response. They cannot control anything on screen. That might be because the controller when plugged in to the hycarus can’t turn on. Its power light just flickers like a light bulb that has .3 seconds left of life. The light is so dull that you have to concentrate to see it flicker.
