Glad I’m not the only one! At the end you can almost hear the singers voice crack from emotion.... this was my favorite group.... so amazing!
I've never seen the show but the stage is weirdly small for a dance show.
i used to think the same but it’s actually much bigger than it looks
I’ve also never seen a circle stage for a dance show.
@@nathan10120 they do a circle stage for dancing with the stars a lot but it’s smaller than this one.
1 and a half minute was all they needed to melt our hearts !

Just wow. This was so well choreographed. Not only did it look visually spectacular but they were so successful in getting the story across to the audience. Absolutely amazing.
Usually I don't understand any dancing especially contemporary it goes way over my head. But as a daughter of a father that neglected me his entire life I can read this dance like a book.

First of all I love this show and I’m not a dancer but when you bring tears to your audience you know you did your job. Amazing
This was above and beyond amazing, gave me goosebumps and made me cry. The choreography and acting is flawless, one of the top 5 best dances I’ve ever seen.
Wish these TV shows were like real world dance competitions. You have groups against groups, duo/trios vs each other, and then soloists...in each division. Then take the top scores from each of those to compete for an overall winner.

At the very beginning if you look beyond the stage towards the back you can see them all crouched down. A great illusion though nonetheless

This performance from the dancing technique right through to the emotion shown represents the lyrics incredibly. This is one song that moves my heart every time I listen to it. Kelly Clarkson is super talented and amazing. Xx

also when i watch tessandra's choreo i'm always in awe cause sometimes you see them doing a weird shape or making a move and you immediately think "wow no one other than tessandra can make that work into the concept and make it into a very important part of it all". everything is always so new or unique with her. she is definitely the best of the best

Listen- I’ve never sobbed to a dance before but this dance brings me to tears everytime
I got it 100%. She was begging him to stay in the beginning and then by the end she was shutting the door on him. My dad was not there for me and then in my adult years I did not want to hear it. I shut him out. Then he died unexpectedly. An operation that should have taken an hour ended in a clot to the brain and him dead. I never got the "I'm sorry" or "I forgive you" He is just gone and I have years of years we could have made up that were wasted. So... Hug your dad while he still here because I cant. My heart hurts every day. Just an opinion.

If you watch the beginning look in the very back you can see them on them kneeling floor so they walked onto stage when they door was covering them to have that effect!

Yeah I bet, considering the fact that 2/3 judges know nothing about dance. Put kings in So You Think You Can Dance and they wouldn’t survive.

Unity LA has great dancers but the song you choose to perform to matters a lot. The songs the Kings were dancing to seemed really rhythmic & full of energy & was a blast. I would get bored watching this dance for 5 mins, but won’t get bored watching the Kings dance, that explains it all
It depends what the choreographer wants to do in this case she wanted to tell a history, yeah it doesn't have much energy but that was a point the dance and the song was about the daughter rebuild herself after her dad break her heart, so it had to be calm and soft.

I disagree, I prefer a highly technical piece, the kings are enjoyable because they stunt, take away the stunting and I'm bored. personal opinion

It's insane how this didn't come first place.
Honestly with this show, the competition is overpowered to the point where it’s impossible to find a deserving winner. Although this was absolutely beautiful (and would have won any other dance show), this most likely came top 15 at most in WOD

@@libfit9068 no definitely not. I never said this was not good dancing and yes its pure artistry but so is the russian ballet and the hundreds of forms of dance all around the world. What wins here is whats more attractive thats the game and I dont agree that the kings were just a flashy circus group and they didnt dance . They wouldnt have made it here in the first place if that had been the case

You can’t just dance pop to this type of song and expect it ti make sense. I would kindly recommend taking another glimpse at your “knowledge” with this, it’s flawed man 😂 This dance piece was beautiful, and still is. Sure it doesn’t have a lot of raw emotion in it, but it’s difficult for some dancers. But it wasn’t boring.

@@KristineMaitland that’s - that’s not a trope. Yes, doors have been used, but so have chairs and some really incredible pieces have been made from them. You can’t say just because a lot of prop has been used before to justify boredom

what the kings did surely was very tough and deserve everyones respect but i don't understand how one can compare unity la to them cause unity la has dancers that are very versatile and tessandra's choreo always brings out the best in each of them, and when i see the kings performance, i see gymnastics and a fun dance but when i see an unity la performance i see stories and art and i would choose stories that touch peoples heart through art over a few minutes of fun and excitement any day..
I cant really compare them, but rather just appreciate both groups. They are completely different styles. Both communicate in their own unique way. I'm pretty sure that members of both groups, if they swapped choreo and music, that they would be able to do a pretty phenomenal job.
I tend to think of dance the same way I do food or music. Everyone has their favorite, but also enjoy eating different cuisine or listening to different styles of music.

Why to even compare,
Unity did their stuff beautifully and Kings Ruled their dance but It's a competition only 1 can win and Kings got it, It was a bit new for western people to understand Indian dance and I think they loved it that's why they won , You should be happy to see something new rather than comparing teams.

Unity LA is amazing for sure but they always do peaceful and story(meaning full)dance which all the western love and always see, On the Other hand Kings show something different In their every dance video they do fun steps, they do Robotics and Jungle dance which was very new for American's and who the hell could imagine a slow-mo in dance, That made them unique and different from other and that's why the won and they truly deserve the win more than any other team.
