Education is free but very competitive so children from middle and first class usually get individual or group tutoring while the poor students only gets school education.they don't get to recieve individual help but some times their parents some how pay for class fees and let them attend because for srilankan parents giving a proper education is a must even if they have to starve they will send their kids to private tussion as well. That's how much competitve our education system.but we do recieve almost everything free when it comes to education even though people makes it more tiring with competitiveness they don't enjoy what they learn its just a marathon
