@@leandroroman7053 Actually, it wouldn't surprise me at all. They are both made from the same studios so there wouldn't be any issues with rights. BoxBoy was only going to have 3 games but then they made a fourth one meaning that people actually love this series and are actually buying it. And last Qbby's square nature would make and interesting combination with Kirby's round characters.

Dear Nintendo, to this day I have no idea why at the very first part of the very first level of the very first Box-Boy game, there's a 'dead' Box-Boy immediately to the left of where Qbby starts his adventure. You can even see him in the first few seconds of this video. What happened to the poor lil' guy?
I never noticed! You're absolutely right, that box has slightly rounded edges (unlike the ground) and closed eyes...
Maybe to show that you're continuing the quest of another box... I don't know, I feel like the games don't take themselves too seriously, so we shouldn't dig too much into, but still, that element was probably intentionaly placed

If you get the bad ending of Boxboy and Boxgirl, then it will get revealed that it is actually Qbby.
wow, just went back to the first game after finished boxboy and boxgirl. They really planed this whole story through in the first place, not expecting that for a fun but small game....
