Return of the King, but only when Gollum is on the screen and talking! I obviously don't hold any copyright over this, this is just my personal edit for reference purposes.
I love this compilation of my favorite version of Gollum! I am still at awe of how otherworldly Brother Theodore makes this character! The anger to desperation you can feel in his performance is second to none! While I still love and respect Andy Serkins portrayal, this Gollum is one you ever want to turn your back on! Thanks for the great video!
Agreed! You can feel his insanity of hundreds of years of loneliness and solitude has done to him! I still like the original hobbit design better as he's even more inhuman, I can understand why they made some minor changes for this version. It's still extremely alien and otherworldy and I personally like to think it makes a connection to lovecraft because of it.
@@TheSteveTheDragon you know it's kind of funny that you mention that because in the original book ( The Hobbit) Tolkien did mention himself he doesn't know what Gollum truly what he is...or where he came from. Almost treating him like an unknown horror( the unknown things) similar to the dweller in the lake! Also, the way I look at Gollum for Return of the king was, since he left the lonely mountain, his body has become more weary and changed to show his age compared to how he was The Hobbit!

I love the fact that he just says "Gollum" over and over despite the fact that the name is supposed to be an onomatopoeia of the strange coughing noise he makes.
Brother Theodore does make the word sound otherworldly and more like a verbal tick, but yeah, someone should have done more research in directing him. lol.
