OMG, I'm surprised to see this return, but in a Full version! This is definitely what I was wanting for the longest time since the original.
This version does have more of a techno-feeling to it with a more harsher beat than the original, which was more soft, but I'm just glad a full version was made regardless!
(I don't want to complain, but I was hoping the full version was just as soft to listen to as the original, rather than being way more harsher on the vocals on beats.)

I, for one, enjoy it very much. It's all the flavor style of AmaLee and her teammates that helped build this cover.
Plus, it's to also help avoid copyright strikes if the instrumental is identical to the original. Wouldn't want that now, would we?
The song is really good. But the tone that's being conveyed by the instrumental is completely different from the original cover and the original song in general.
Probably where the "hate" is coming from.

@@frostykittens It's not about whether the final product sounds 'fine' or not, but rather, what was lost in the process that the shorter cover still has.
Unlike what OP implied, the instrumental wasn't even similar to the original to begin with and we still loved it, so that was never the problem.
There was a small Fairy Tail leitmotif snuck in at the very end. That's a nice touch
The electric guitar solo at 3:04 is probably the only section I hate in this cover.. something I absolutely loved in the original song
Other than that ngl.. I much prefer this cover's instrumentals over the original

If I'm not mistaken, the lyricist of the original song said that the lyrics are meant to be from the perspective of Emilia, the Emilia that died in the very first timeline, watching over Subaru in the afterlife. So, y'know, if this song didn't already make you cry, there you go.

...Probably not. All jokes aside, something _was_ pretty fishy about that first loop, considering Puck didn't, y'know, end the world.
@@CABRALFAN27 Puck actually did end the world. The scene was cut from the LN to save time but it's there in the WN.
After Elsa kills them both, Puck reveals himself and goes "End of the World" mode right next to Elsa. Safe to say she dies there and Puck does his thing until Reinhard shows up, which isn't very long since Rein is in the same place as him.

When you make these I can’t help but feel strong emotions when listening to them. It feels like nostalgia, even for songs I never heard before. I find it helps me remain grounded. Thank you and keep up the good work.

On one hand, I'm really happy to hear this cover. On the other hand, I wish it included that jingle that happened right before the song in Episode 2. That little piano noise is something most people don't put in their covers and isn't even in the _official_ version of the song, but I think it goes really well with it.

Amazing! I love that we finally have a full version of this song. Some people are saying that the added layers on the vocals are a bit offputting compared to your first one, but I love their . . . Aesthetic? Weird to use that for a song, but that's about right. Would love to hear either of the openings you haven't done yet from Re:Zero, especially since there's only like one or two solid covers of Paradisus-Paradoxim, which is a shame since it's such a banger. Anyways, thanks so much for this one!

I've never heard the full version before, so this was a pleasant surprise! Loved it!! I do miss that distinct hour glass breaking noise that was in the tv version though, or maybe it was there, but drowned out in this version? Either way, this was awesome!
It's probably a bit late to say, but I am so happy to see the full version since listening to the TV size version of the cover! Styx Helix is literally my favorite song from ReZero's soundtrack. Even before watching ReZero, this song was on repeat XD. I love the beat of this cover! It's like a different take on Styx Helix which is awesome (especially since it's been around 3-4 years since the tv size version). Love it! Keep it up!

I absolutely love Styx Helix and I have for a while. I remember listening to it on a loop while playing Sims 3 for hours lol. I loved it so much that I tried singing it (without looking at the lyrics so I got almost all of it wrong). That song made me fall head over heels for anime music and English covers but also got me back into the passion of singing. Singing genuinely got me through some tough times. That is to say, Styx Helix holds such a special place in my heart. For that reason, it's been hard to find a good English cover of it. Until now! You absolutely killed it!! Some people are complaining that the instruments change the feel, but honestly, since I was pretty young and didn't watch Re:Zero, this is exactly how the song made me feel. Not only have you nailed it, but you went beyond that. I am so happy right now lol. Thank you Amalee!!

I'm a little conflicted on this one. I really wanted a full version back in the day when your original TV size cover came out which I listen to to this day.
This full version is certainly still good but I think there are too many effects and background changes. Your original cover felt more pure and I prefer that version. Really happy I finally get to hear the rest of your lyrics for this song tho :)

Couldn't agree more; I feel like this was over-composed; the tunes got in the way of the heart of her voice. I've also seen a downgrade in the aesthetic style of the video animation.

Naruto may be my first anime that I watched, but Re:Zero will always be my favorite anime. I confess that when I started, I judged by the cover and got sick of the protagonist without even having seen it before, but then I learned that this anime is an ordinary isekai, of course it has some clichés, but it is very different.
