i'm happy that the chorus is not a beat drop. i think maybe this one is the most unique chorus i've heard from them. and, that's kinda risky specially for them who used to have a huge drop. verses and prechorus is the best here.

now that i've listened to both songs more than once i can't decide which one i like more because they're both so good, but when i first listened to them i did like all eyes on me a little bit more than flower, still i thought flower was more appropriate as title track, also as you said flower totally suits jisoo's vibe!!
I think this was a good style for her. The bridge and dancing portions were elegant and measured. She doesn’t have the energy to do something more hard core like when she is with the group. I can’t believe some people are saying it doesn’t suit her… you might be clueless then

Calling something the best or second best (in my personal opinion) doesn’t mean I think everything else is bad. This really suits Jisoo’s style. She’s more mature than the other members, and she’s not a very energetic person. I feel like there was so much more that she could have given, but overall I really like it. It’s calm, simple, and just Jisoo style.

I think she is the most beautiful idol and this still exceeded by expectations. So elegant and classy. She also has a great sense of humor, she is kind, she takes care of her other members, and she is very intelligent. In hindsight, I can’t believe how unpopular she was compared to the other members in the early days.

I absolutely love the lyrics....knowing the lyrics and watching the mv makes it even better. Alot of ppl seem to find it a lil underwhelming like you said it has a very clam vibe despite the lyrics being on the sad deep side...but the song is absolutely beautiful. The visuals tho amazing.
Compared to the other solos I feel this needed more power but her vocals made the song enjoyable and the way the video was filmed felt like a short film. Something very refreshing but I ended up wanting that kick like the other girls' solo. 😫 But regardless I will keep cheering for her, it's been a long waiting and even this, I'm just happy that her solo was finally released, 😒 Yet, I feel YG could have done more for our bunny turtle queen.

My family and I were on Universal Studios Hollywood ride "Studio Tour", last week, when Jisoo's m/v was released. While watching Flower, I thought that background looked familiar (where have I seen this?). Turns out it was the "New York Street" of Universal Studios Lot. This just made Jisoo's m/v more exciting/more connected because the view of the buildings was still fresh in mind from seeing the set while on the tram (that takes you around Universal Studios Lot). Happy for Jisoo, happy she gets to have her own solo album!
