Honestly, can't wait to see Noelle in action. I do think compass elf doesn't get enough praise, she was easily one of the best elves in the manga, easily able to take on captain Nozel. Compass magic is pretty unique, and even I didn't think it would have that level of hax that it did.

Oh yeah dude Kirvn hard countered the piss out of Nozel. That was a very bad matchup for him. She was very powerful and had a very hax ability to disturb the mana in the area and have needles that always hit their target. It's nice to know in Black Clover even if you have more mana/power than someone, the opponent can still win based on the matchup and abilities.
Noelle's bout to show why she's the best main female lead in current shounen next episode.

Yeah. He really screwed that up. He thought that if he put her down enough, she’d give up on being a magic knight, and wouldn’t be in danger. Hell, he probably realized exactly why she couldn’t control her magic immediately. He just never counted on her being as stubborn as their mother.
The other two were just following his lead without understanding why, and for no other reason than it fed their superiority complex.

Honestly Kivn's magic is overpowered. Reflecting sea dragons roar, shooting needles that follow you until they hit, the giant compass were you can't control your magic in but she can, and(minor spoiler)

Honestly this is why I love Black Clover. You get insane magical abilities/hax. It reminds me a lot of HxH's Nen system.

Yeah, Kivin’s nuts. And that’s not counting the basic ability all elves have that was giving Nebra and Solid so much trouble. Her mana output is so dense that you need to have insane amounts of power and extreme control over your mana just to get close and make her put in effort to deflect it.

You’re right but it could be argued she can only do so many hax spells at once because of her large amount of mana from being an elf coupled with “new magic”. “New magic” is the modern magic we see now like Zora’s traps magic though I’m not certain what other spells this includes so it’s entirely possible the elf is weaker but is actually being buffed

There are bits of moments in this episode where it should had been animated better (where the manga showed it more badass), I don't mean it was bad but it was downscaled in comparison.
They're rationing their budget. One piece does the same thing. The budget is the main reason why some scenes aren't well animated.
