My school has this exact same system with pretty much the exact same devices and even exactly the same evac message. The only real difference is that my school has the newer Siemens XMS-S pull stations vs the older HMS-D pull stations seen in this video. Like your school, mine is also still under construction and has had around 8 false alarms so far this year. Mostly, it has been from construction dust setting of smoke detectors. Also, the newer pull stations are incredibly easy to trip and we’re set off a few times by accident before they installed STI stoppers over them. We haven’t actually had any fire drills yet this year because my area counts false alarms as drills and, as far as I can tell, my district only requires three drills per school year.
@aerhardt nice my school has had like 20 false alarms during construction and 15 after we moved in, the cause of the false alarms was a malfunction from a faulty detector like usual
funny thing is on Thursday I had a fire drill, and guess what, it's almost the same kinda system! Exceder LED's but on a Siemens Cerberus PRO Modular instead of a Desigo
I actually got to pull the HMS-D in the front office they use for drills as well as walk around with our school safety guy and record a bunch of the Exceder LSPSTWC’s around my school along with a bunch of ET70-WP’s outside, we do have some LSPSTW’s including one in the middle staircase but I didn’t get to see it as I had to walk passed said stairwell.
Our system is also probably one of the last Siemens systems to be installed with the Exceder LED3’s as it was installed summer 2021 and the Exceder LED3 went out of production 12/31/2021
actually they did get fined because we’ve had 4 malfunctions this school year and the fire department was tired of responding to all those faulty detectors so therefore the school got fined

My favorite voice evac❤ (Even though it malfunctions😅)
Actually doesn’t malfunction anymore because they fixed it
@Gregory4903 I'm glad it doesn't anymore, at least your school didn't get fined

@@Gregory4903 we had a fire drill at erie high school yesterday and i got to pull the fire alarm and the fire department showed up
@ Either the fire department showed up for the drill or they forgot to call the company to put the alarms to test mode
