  • There was some talk about running 13.5 4wd buggy, so I showed up with a 13.5. I was the only one :( I ended up being put in the Mod class, so I had to use boost in the ESC to try and keep up (I'll put a 6.5 in it for next time). Anyway...this ZX6 drives great! Very responsive, jumps level, corners tight. Not a single bad thing to say about it on the track. I qualified 6th in the A-Main and ended up finishing 2nd, despite being underpowered. I just tried to keep a clean line and stay out of trouble, while (almost) everyone around me was barreling into each other. This was a good race (for me at least).

thanks doctormosfet, I was stuck on which car to get me back into racing. I haven't raced in +15 years, but I knew I wanted a buggy and I wanted to try 4WD. This video cemented the deal! As a long time Team Associated fan, I wanted the B44.3 but heard it needs ALOT of mods before it's race ready. But Kyosho was my first Hobby grade RC, so looks like I'm headed back to my roots!
