Discover the breathtaking beauty of Colorado, where the charming towns of Ouray and Aspen await you.Ouray and Aspen are both located in the Colorado Rocky Mountains, but they are not very close to each other. The driving distance between them is about 130 miles (209 km), but due to the mountainous terrain and lack of direct highways, the drive takes approximately 4 to 5 hours.
The most common route involves traveling north from Ouray via U.S. Highway 550 (the scenic Million Dollar Highway) to Montrose, then east on U.S. Highway 50, and finally taking Colorado State Highway 82 into Aspen.
Despite the distance, both towns offer stunning mountain scenery, outdoor adventures, and rich local history, making them great stops on a Colorado road trip! 🚗🏔️
