Hi nurse Nyamouch, really love those videos comparison. But let me tell you, if you prefer our annual leave compared to Canada annual leave, trust me you Canadian have more benefits with the shift pattern. I did watch your other video and I think I would trade the annual leave to the shift pattern. I will explain to you in your other video. But just one question, does the annual leave it depends on the hospital policy? Or maybe the province, since each province as it's own nursing board like you explained in one of your videos. Thanks again and stay bless with your family.
Hi Lovly Dy, thanks for your comments and starting this important topic. Yes, working in the UK is difficult with the unrealistic shift patterns that are given to staff. Especially when you are an IEN who has no choice but to work full time hours. I don't understand how they expect nurses when children to survive on only 1-2 days off before working. But yes in Canada annual leave is based on hospital policy and which province you work in. but for the most part, I believe canada doesn't give as much paid leave about 2-3 weeks.
thank you pleaseeeeeee make another video i know you must be busy but im trying to move to the uk im struggling how did you do it all? I only got my NMC and need to do the CBT do you only get paid once a month now im debating!
