. . . oooh, look forward to this vid....just luv & highly respect Cyrus....I'm a big fan of his...he is a valuable asset to our optimal health efforts . . . 🥰
Thank you! This was a very informative presentation. I’m gradually changing my diet to whole food plant based. I’ve been intermittent fasting for almost 3 years & exercising 4-5 days a week. I feel empowered 💪🏽😊
You just described the Randal cycle. It was a great explanation BTW. And it basically said, you either eat all carbs, low/no fat, and some protein... OR all fat, protein, and NO carbs, like (0 carbs). If you try to eat a "balanced" diet, you get unhealthy outcomes. People who can eat all 3 at the same time successfully are gods.
What about people who are underweight but are prediabetic, are on a whole plant based diet and still have metabolic syndrome? No one talks about this group! Please!
I mean, unless you’re grossed out about the idea of eating carcass like I am. Not sure how to get past that wall. I’m right wing (moderate, but supporting common sense makes you right wing in 2025), I hear the carnivore argument every day. It’s just not reasonable for me with my mental block. I haven’t been able to stomach the idea of eating meat since 2006. I’m 37. Whole food plant based is easier for me.
@Kelsey-s7n I get you. People tend to resist it until they have nowhere else to go. Then embrace it as everything wrong with them improves. So good luck. Maybe start with cheese, butter, eggs. You don't have to be a lion. But I'm sorry to see the right-wing part of your comment. It is totally irrelevant to diet, but the USA in particular seems to be starting to divide diet along that political fault line. That way, you end up with totally unsuitable "heroes" such as RFKJ. There is no MAHA without MAGA, and that is very unthinking territory. Soon we will be lining up ready for deportation, "vegans on the left, carnivores on the right, quick march, left, right, left, right, left". USA is in a very horrible, dangerous place. So please don't praise the right in the context of diet. Sorry to sound so serious, but I am very concerned about the growing shape of things over there. 🙃🦘🦘🦘🙃
@Kelsey-s7n I get you. People often resist until their suffering outweighs their scruples. We humans are enculturated and full of squeamishness we would lose very fast if left in a jungle or a grassy plain for a month. No broccoli or quinoa out there (I wrote a longer reply requesting please don't mix diet and politics, that's been unfortunate and you end up making heroes out of truly unsuitable people - but it was deleted by YT)

Thank you for clearly explaining the problem. I knew there was a relation between lipids and glucose but now I understand how they work.

Great presentation 👏
Thank you Doctor Cyrus K for your excellent presentation.
You can suppress the urge to yawn if you think of fresh cucumbers 🥒 😉

Yes. SAD is even worse than a vegan diet...
Carnivore is far, far easier. Effortless reversal.

Videographer, look, they don't just recommend keto, first they recommend TRUE keto, second plus intermittent fasting!
