@AAJAA5 nah true random makes people think it's not random, because they will get sometimes the same thing over and over, what people want then random is uniqueness and different, the same thing happened with Spotify, they had it truly random but then people got the same shit over and over and over again, doesn't matter how much Spotify said that if its random then shit like that happens sometimes, after a while Spotify gave in and changed it to weighted randomness where it searches to be unique and different song then the last one, even on the price of true randomness. people didn't complain about it after that

Fun strategy I pulled off: Give Holy mackeral divine shield and taunt ONLY it (with argus). If your other murlocs have divine shield make them attack first, put holy mackeral to the right. The opponent will suicide into Mackerals shield, your murloc will refresh Mackerals shield, suicide, refresh, and continue till all other murlocs lose their divine shield. Your opponent has attacked 5-6 times, and still hasn't killed anything (unless cleave). Just pray they dont get a ghoul
Savjz has done this in a few videos, and I'm pretty sure dogdog has as well.
Ghoul solution: Two taunted shielded poisonous Mackarels. Quite literally possible they just never kill your taunts even with ghoul, basically acts the same otherwise. Put them next to each other and cleave does nothing too.
@@MOLEMITTS12 It's probably still better to not put taunt on one of the mackerels if you've got two, and make the one without taunt attack first.
Ghoul will always be effective against mackerels, because it removes divine shield from other sources. The drawback with the ghoul is that you can't be reliant on divine shields either, unless you're using dragons. Then you can put your ghoul first and have Nadina second. You lose some firepower, but if you've got the option, it's likely worth it.

People stick with cheap decks because spending money on this game is like pouring water in the sea expecting it to flood over.
Kripp has never understood that people don't have hundreds of dollars to spend on day 1 of each expansion to get the new decks and they would rather wait to see what is the meta and build deck/s based on that
I'm a f2p Player. And I have a lot fun playing Shaman. After Shudderwock rotated out from Standard, I moved to wild and keep going the fun. My winrate is below 40% but the fun is guaranteed. I'm just glad for every new battlecrycard they print. 😁
I belive the main reason people don't play the new cards early most of the time is because 90% of players can't afford finantially to drop crazy amouts of $$ on packs. No packs / dust = no cards for new decks.
It also doesn’t help that they just make it harder to be f2p with every time expansion
People are also really bad at saving gold prior to new expansions.
on standard rotations I dust everything that rotates so I usually have enough for 2-3 legends and I build whatever looks the most fun to me. People that are unwilling to experiment with the new cards because they want to wait to see what the best decks are are pretty much exactly the people Kripp is talking about it

I don’t play new expansion stuff on launch day in games such as Hearthstone not because I don’t like fun, but because I don’t have the cards yet. Not everyone buys everything on the first day.
Ppl on higher ranks generally do and that was the group he was talking about

Perhaps people who enjoy grinding the ladder find high win-rate decks the most fun ;-) Also, you don’t *have* to play at high rank in the ranked play mode: playing at lower ranks or in the unranked play mode is likely to provide greater deck variety in opponents if that’s what you’re after but does have other problems. While I also dislike playing the same few net decks over and over again I don’t think that it’s fair to complain about the players: it’s just a natural consequence of the system.
I wonder if someone is combining all of the "kripperino" comments into a dataset just to see if some interesting correlations happen

Kezedrix well he’s also fairly biased by owning every card and assuming all other players do the same every expansion. When he says the general playerbase would rather play to win than for fun he misses a key point. Winning is fun. No matter how cool or special a deck might be, if it doesn’t win, it’s not fun to many players.

Not everyone plays the game as their job. It makes sense that the vast majority of people would choose to play decks that give them a known good chance of winning.

About tempeh: I bought some here in Germany, it was horrible, but i ate it in Indonesia often, it was my favourite food, completely different. They had it fresh, not frozen, and deep-fried little strips of it.. couldn't replicate the taste or consistency whith what i could buy here. So if you have the chance, try indonesian tempeh :)

@@PerkSystem No it's not. Before, after completing the process, you would have both packs for constructed AND the Battlegrounds mode. NOW you'll only get the Battlegrounds mode, because you'll have to throw away 2500 gold to unlock it.
It's a paywall. If you pay you'll get to choose from 4 heroes, which means you have better chances at getting a good hero, which in turn gives you an edge on weaker heroes. Paying in Constructed gives you more cards, but your chances to win remain the same on higher ranks. However on Battlegrounds players who pay have a visible advantage over people who don't pay.

Most Thumbnails that get views are any combination of:
1. picture of facial expression(makes viewer want to know what they are reacting to)
2. easily legible text, usually with something shocking or words that will attract viewer (ex. "INSANE TOKI" Rather than "Toki run #26"
3. background image relevant to video or something shocking within the video

Hey Kripparrian, would allowing tokens (like rat pack) to win games but not count towards damage help fix the Battlegrounds? After a win with only tokens on the board, only a hero’s tavern tier would deal damage. A token would be defined as any minion that cannot be bought in Bob’s tavern. If a card like Piloted Shredder, Piloted Sky Golem, Sneed’s Old Shredder, or any other card that could summon a minion which is also available for purchase in Bob’s tavern, regardless of tavern tier, would do normal damage.

Obviously the absolute best ultimate endgame build is 3 mackerels (one golden), one brann, two other murlocks (bagurgle I suppose) and one open spot for buffs.

What if the changed it so it only got divine shield from other Murlocs and not any minion. That way it can’t be slotted into any build but it’s still really good if you get another mackerel or just have murlocs

Nobody even plays fun/new decks at low ranks. Even at rank 20 I’ve only ever run into either beginner decks or net decks that every other person is playing. This is why I only play my 5 ranked games a month

Honestly the quote has some truth to it. Being at the low ranks should encourage experimentation. Back then getting to rank 20 was a joke since it was nothing lost nothing gained if you loose a game or 5. Sad truth though is that even people at rank 20 wanna rank up and feel defeated if they experiment and it doesnt work.
More people need to use the Robinson family way of doing things and get excited for failing, enjoying the process of crafting something that works cause they thought of it themselves. Sadly, most dont like to make decks for the same reason most dont like to try new builds in Path of Exile. The time and effort it takes to get from point A to B is too much for them.

Kripp was saying people prefer playing higher winrate decks, well that may be because it takes a lot of time to build a deck if you don't want to pay for cards with real money, which I personally don't. If all people had access to all the cards for free you would see much more interesting decks just because people would have access to them
hey is it better to put Brann to the most right space so you get damage if he survives?
Before he taunted everyting: If you have only one or two taunts, it is usually better to put them to leftmost or rightmost (mid to late game). Because this way if enemy has cleave, they only hit two units instead of three. Unless your taunt is an important deathrattle (like goldrin), you would usually put it to rightmost so it doesn't die early. This way it protects your other important units. Also you would usually put the most useless unit 2nd leftmost. Because again if the enemy has cleave, you don't want your important units to take damage. This is why he put malganis next to brann for example.
After taunting everything: You usually want your minions with most attack to be closer to leftmost. Lets say you have a 2/1 and a 1/1, and the enemy has a 2/2. If you put 2/1 first, it will kill the enemy 2/2 and your 1/1 will survive. If you put 1/1 first, both of your units will die. By putting your higher attack units closer to leftmost, you increase your possibilty of "not wasting" attacks. This is why brann is rightmost, it has really little attack compared to others. Of course there are may exceptions to this positioning depending on your opponents' build and positioning. But this is the general idea.
@@afsinbaranbayezit6663 Hey thanks for the reply i understand that Brann is useless if it's seen from a combat perspective but in mid game maybe if he is rightmost when you still doesn't have the buffs to make your other units survive next fight (i think this maybe circumstancial). Could make sense if you do while trying to achieve the build?

I think the DH being a whole new class AND everyone getting their full base set of cards right away had a lot to do with how many people were playing the class right away. There would have been a lot fewer DHs if most people only had some of the cards.
There would be a lot fewer DH if the class sucked. In fact, there would hardly be any DH.

I play a mid range priest with quest. Sort of anti aggro but can also be control, with Galakrond in it.
As of right now the stats are 70% winrate, but I'm only plat 5 so might be worse higher up.
Kripp we do enjoy watching bg vids but itd be nice to get some constructed/arena clips now and again

Dont think Demon Hunter is balanced, but I think the amount of good cards felt good. Kinda wish more classes had such solid base kits to them... and possibly more 1 mana hero powers idk.

Turn 8? You can get it on turn 6 or even turn 5 if you’re holding all of the cards you need and a coin. And if you play the lifesteal weapon the turn before, it’s 24 damage with lifesteal.

well, poisonous was missing, but they had enough attack so this isnt a concern.
And windfury isnt that good, it doesnt give stats.
divine shield refreshing mackerels on the other hand though, get stats everytime they get a new divine shield, also with both divine shields up they can almost completly negate cleave (if you got 3 of them out (so 5 in total) they can completly negate cleaves.
The only problem is, they are tavern 6 units which arent dying, so the opponent always gets 12 points of damage just from them. The games end really Quickly with them.

Isn't only having taunt on one of the mackerels and putting it far right the best build. When u have all divine shield murlocs even better with poisonous, u get full resets with one of the mackerels.

I've destroyed such a build yesterday with two 8/4 mackerels with poison, not that good I guess.

I can't say I don't agree with krip here. I remember encountering jade druids all the time. The only time when jade druids stopped being a thing was when standar/ wild was introduced and that expansion was moved but even going back into wild one would encounter this deck all the time.
Thats his point, people play decks to win even just when a new expansion roll out.

I think the only way you can nerf Mackerel is by limiting it's Divine Shield Refresh. Something along the lines of: It can only refresh X number of times, or it refreshes only when a Merlock loses Divine Shield, etc.
