Now I realise one has to start the order process using the link like yours above. They don't make that obvious when starting the process. I'm going to ring them and try and get it added.
Congrats!!! I have bought one as well, playing the waiting game for the next few weeks! I am definitely also punching above my financial weight. I was in the happy/sad situation that I inherited the money, so I have bought an SR+ outright. It has been a dream for years knowing the likelyhood of owning a Tesla were slim to none so I made the choice of getting the Model 3, also as a way to honor my dear grandmother.

Picked up my M3P earlier this week. Absolute joy. Love the using mobile as a key. Just instinctively get in and walk away to lock. Also love the interior. I've done 500 miles in 3 days 🙂

I waited until my partner and I were on holiday enjoying a stroll through a beautiful palace garden in Austria last November before announcing we would be picking up our Model 3 a few days later. She took it surprisingly well and actually approved! Four months later and I still have a smile on my face every time I get in the car! 🌞 Enjoy your new wheels!

I’ve been an EVM fan for a few years, as well as other great TH-cam channels. What I love is your honest and practical approach, for me yours and other channels helped me decide that EV was the way to go. Personally I think there are always going to be people allowing sweeping generalisations of a ‘type’ of car manufacturer driver, and your video and statistics just confirm that, some people are just dumb. I drive a leased Model 3, am courteous and polite on the road, and talk to all EV drivers if/when I see them. Keep up the great work EVM!
You took my advice. You used the extra time to save up and get what you really wanted. The daughter's (literally) breathless astonishment was priceless. She'll look good perched in the back there on road trips. And of course you have to do a review. And then do some Tesla Bjørn-y vids on what living with a Tesla is like, accessories that make the experience better (or not).
I really like that you are not one of these you tubers who just spend unnecessarily, or get giving cars etc... Real world guy, love watching your channel keep it going.

It'll be interesting to see how this Tesla fits into your everyday life. I recently watched a Harry's Garage video of a Model 3 Performance & I have to say I was very impressed with what I saw, particularly the charging network & useable range the car has.
The look of disbelief & Glee on your families face.....priceless. enjoy your TM3, I'm looking forward to your near future "experience videos". One question I have is does it have the AVAS fitted, I believe this is mandatory now, so what does it sound like and is it customisable? "In the EU and, as things currently stand, the UK, AVAS has been compulsory on all new types of electric and hybrid vehicles since 1 July 2019, and it will be required on all hybrid or electric vehicles sold from 1 July 2021 onwards".
