Thank GOD the reactor get to have the experience we didn't when this movie came out in theaters. The twist that Arnold was the good guy was spoiled in the trailers for the movie.
My joy of watching TERMINATOR 2 for the first time was spoiled by a *film critic* in a Let's Go To The Movies free magazine in England. In his review of the film, he spoiled the twist that Arnold will be playing the hero in T2. 😬🙄 Stupid Englishman.
And a year after this movie came out, the Dyson company known for vacuums was born. It seems like the future is bound to follow the course laid out by this film.
They *did* make another, third one. Not very good, so many people think it might better not have been made. But it does tidy up the story and shows what the future becomes.
That scene with Sarah holding onto the fence when the nuke went off, you said that was scarring. I watched this movie with my dad and sister when I was a kid, and during that scene my sister told me that could happen to us at any time. I started crying and will never forget it. I was traumatized. I won't forget, Kim
Aye, those of us of a certain age all grew up not expecting to still be here! I used to live about four hundred yards from an installation that we knew was on the Soviet targeting list so, oddly enough, we were all fairly blasé about it as we would have been dust in an instant.
It really, really captures the horror of nuclear warfare in a way that few films do. One moment everything's fine and everything is good. The next moment you're on fire and the city is melting.
Dammit Kim, have some tact. Actually, I'm not one to talk, I was like that with my younger brother, and my dad was even more blunt towards me. Two examples from when I was _4-years-old:_ "Am... I going to die some day?" "Yes." and then later "Does God exist?" "No."
Scientist came forward & said that is exactly what happens in a nuclear blast at a certain distance. You'll burst into flames from the extreme heat then the shockwave will rip off your cooked flashed into clean bones less than two seconds.
I remember watching this movie back in the mid 90's with my Pop who was a master welder. After the T-1000 got knocked into the molten steel, he started chuckling. I asked him what was funny and he said "Some welder is going to be welding along one day and that thing is going to pop out at him!" I always think of that when I watch this.
When you mentioned Walter and Jesse during the scenes in the desert I remembered I had seen your reaction before. There is actually another Breaking Bad connection here, the SWAT team leader is played by Dean Norris. So you could imagine this was Hank's job before he joined the DEA…
P.s. the roses being crushed under Arnie's feet after he whips out the shotgun is a nod to Guns n Roses - they did 'You Could be Mine' for the T2 soundtrack.
Test audiences didn't understand that freezing screwed up the T1000's mimicking abilities, so that was cut from the theatrical release. The plot line with CPU being altered was removed as well to simplify the story and make the film shorter. Other elements where information was repeated or superfluous (e.g. the T1000 in the kennel with "Wolfie") were removed as well.
Robert Patrick, the T-1000, prepared for his role by improving his cardio. When he runs in the movie, he never opens his mouth to get more air as he runs. Patrick trained to run without opening his mouth since a robot wouldn't need more air.
The actor that played the bad terminator was so fit, during the motorbike scene, they had to tell him to dial it back because he kept catching up to the bike. He specifically trained to sprint and not show breath cause he thought thats what a machine would look like
If you want to see Arnold in a non-Terminator role, check out Last Action Hero (1993). He's got a lot of charm and personality in that. It's actually a comedy.
Or try his film debut, "Hercules in New York", 1969. I don't thing you'll hear his voice though since I think this is one where they dubbed over him because his accent was so thick.
Linda Hamilton's twin sister plays Sarah Conner in the playground scene and the security guard getting coffee also has twin brother who plays him in that scene.
The guy playing the helicopter pilot who jumps out when the T-1000 tells him to is the actual pilot of the helicopter! Further, he is the one who flew it under the bridge: That was not a special effect!
An interesting little tidbit that James Cameron threw in, when Sarah goes in to assassinate Dyson in his home, the pistol she pulls out when she enters the house is a .45 Silverballer. The same pistol Arnold uses when he confronts Sarah in the first one. Basically Cameron's way of drawing a parallel about how, for a short period of time, Sarah becomes the very thing she fears most. A ruthless, programmed killing machine with no remorse, intent on killing to change the future. Only John can return her to her humanity. In the end, Sarah's humanity wins.
As you said, her humanity won out. However, she pulled herself back as John hadn't gotten there yet. John was doing what he was meant to do - stop a Terminator from killing, though he would've been too late had Sarah not been strong enough. He was going to stop his mother even if it meant not saving 3 billion people, as he told the Terminator on the ride there.
Mary there are 4 more Terminator movies, Terminator 3: Rise of the Machines, Terminator Salvation, Terminator Genisys, and Terminator: Dark Fate and all except Salvation has Arnold in a starring role, and likewise all except Salvation are well worth watching!
Mr. Dyson wasn't named after the vacuum cleaner, but rather Dr. Freeman Dyson, who was the first to research the function of a Dyson Sphere (named for him as well), which is a theoretical megastructure encompassing a star, capturing unreal amounts of solar energy for power. Its quite a common trope in SciFi, the use of the name Dyson - and no, never referencing the vacuum cleaners (are they still made? I remember seeing commercials in the US decades ago). FYI, if a crime film, Hoover is a reference for J. Edgar Hoover, the founder of the FBI....not Hoover vacuum cleaners, lol.
The way Linda Hamilton completely resculpted her body to be what she is in this movie is damn impressive. Such a cool feat. Obviously, not the most original opinion. 😋
She became buff without looking like a man, and her exterior hardness was well matched with interior compassion and iron will. That's why people still love Sarah Connor and Ripley, and have contempt for the inferior copies - so many modern 'strong female characters' are just the blandest kind of male characters, with different haircuts.
I can here the drums even before the titles begin 😅 I never saw the original Terminator before I saw the sequel - but I was aware of who and what Terminator was so the flip still worked on younger audiences.
After watching this one, I'm 100% convinced that Mary is descended from the Knights Who Say "Ni!" 😂 ("Néé!" in Dutch). And when the epic "godver-🦆" start flying (29:43) you just know that someone is getting really immersed in this movie. Cheers!
❤💚❤💚 (Christmas colors). The stunt with the helicopter going under the bridge was all real, and they did it twice. The largest clearance was 7' the smallest 4'. Cameron had to film it himself because the crew refused because they thought it was too dangerous. That stunt pilot is s legend. Nice you watched one of the better cuts, a few extended scenes, but with the original ending. There is a different edit where the studio changed the ending to be more 'happy' than the original release. To say the least fans don't like it.
Dean Norris is an actor who portrayed SWAT Team Leader in Terminator 2: Judgment Day. He is known for portraying DEA agent Hank Schrader on the television series Breaking Bad.
Helicopters are called "choppers" due to the sound a two-bladed helicopter makes when the blades move through the air. The Bell UH-1 "Huey" is probably the most famous "chopper". Four-bladed helicopters make a more sublimated sound, more of a loud buzz than the whop whop whop of the two-bladed ones.
Arnold, being from Austria has always had a thick accent. He wanted to act after being a the very successful bodybuilder. In his early acting career, such as Pumping Iron, he had a thicker accent. He's funny and charismatic in it.
Fun fact, in English, a casualty can be a death, injury, or other ailment that removes someone from combat or similar incident. It doesn't *just* mean deaths. Also, yes, there are a ton of terminator movies.. tons

I saw this in the theater when it came out. The nuclear explosion scene was quite impressive on the big screen. Someone near me said it wasn't like that, couldn't be. A man in front of them turned around and said it was. He said he was a officer who worked with nukes from the nearby base. True about him or not, that scene has been called one of the most realistic in cinema history.
That is how a nuclear blast would be, BUT - it's slowed down for the movie, so you get the full effect. What you see, happens in milliseconds at ground zero. If you look at photos taken after the fact at Hiroshima, there are "shadows" of people's feet on concrete surfaces: the people themselves, were vaporized in the blast.
The depiction of the Thermo-Nuclear explosion was actually deemed as the most accurate ever in a non documentary motion picture. That was said in a letter to James Cameron from the Lawrence-Livermore National Laboratories, who design and build the US nuclear weapons.
In the 80s, there were a few film franchises in particular whose 2nd installment was the greatest of them all. Terminator 2. Star Trek 2. Aliens. Empire Strikes Back.
The Protectinator. As a kid in the early 90's this movie was absolutely amazing to us and still is. We were just like John Connor. "Easy Money" This was during the birth of CGI and it was mind blowing, just like Jurassic Park. They didn't depend on it, they utilized it in its infancy. There are actually two sets of twins in this, the cop's and Sarah's. I honestly cried at the end the first time. I can't lie. "It's when there's nothing wrong but, you cry any way." If a machine can learn the value of life maybe we can too...
Yes, Terminator 2 was the most extensive CGI effects used up to the point of it's release. James Cameron is always at the cutting edge of technology. He used CGI earlier in 1989 for the water alien effects in The Abyss, and of course he made the best movie with 3D technology in Avatar.
The word "casualties" can cover, sick/ill, lost, and injured, as well as dead. It can also refer to those negatively impacted by by things outside of violence or war, such as as an economic event. And in ever broader use, it can refer to damage or destruction of an object.
Originally, rock star Billy Idol (Dancing With Myself, Mony Mony, Cradle Of Love, LA Woman) was going to play the villainous T-1000, but injured his leg in a motorcycle accident and had to drop out. Robert Patrick took the role. There is even an early storyboard that shows Idol as the T-1000. The opening scene where the Terminator arrives naked from the future was almost cut from the movie as the producers thought it was a remake of the original, but when they learned the Terminator didn't kill anyone in the bar, they kept it in the final cut of the movie. James Cameron was high on Ecstasy as he was writing the script. He revealed this in an interview for AVATAR THE WAY OF WATER.
Great reaction, Mary. I hope you check out Terminator 3: Rise of the Machines next. Don't let people fool you into thinking it's a bad movie. It's actually pretty good and the last decent Terminator film. Everything after that isn't worth your time.
Plus if you think about what the alternate ending to T2 (aka directors cut) causes than everything in T1 & T2 shouldn’t happen and John is either not born or is born later with someone else as his dad and Kyle is just some random kid. So T3 is correct when they say “judgment day is inevitable”. For Kyle to remain John’s dad the war has to still be going on therefore resulting in the plot of the movie series. Cause look at all the movies that deal with time. A change in the past would cause the future to alter.
The T-800 model clad in Arnold’s flesh is mass produced in a factory. Another T-800 clad in body-builder Franco Columbo’s flesh as another T -800 model seen in the first movie attacking the underground rebel base. Each Arnold appearing in the sequels is a different one from the factory. Speaking of mass-produced, two sets of twins appeared in this film. The security guard and his copy were played by twins Don and Dan Stanton. You can see both of them in ‘Gremlins 2’. The other twin was Linda Hamilton’s twin sister Leslie Hamilton Gearren who played the real Sarah Connor while Linda played the copy. Sadly Leslie passed away in 2020.
28:45 "Since when did it -- is it called 'chopper'? Does that come from somewhere?" Using "chopper" to refer to helicopters originated as military slang in the Korean War in the early 1950s.
A fun movie I think you might enjoy would be "Who Framed Roger Rabbit." Not sure how familiar with old school cartoons you are, old school Disney/loonytoons, but even if you aren't it's a great watch
In my opinion still on of the best sequels ever made. There are more Terminator films, but they feel not necessarily since the ending here is pretty much perfect.
FYI it’s not the same Terminator from the 1st movie. There’s an assembly line of T-100s given Arnies skin and sent out to kill. Skynet sent 1 back for the 1st movie. John captured & reprogrammed a different but identical machine for this movie Kinda cool to note that Sarah was going to try to kill Dyson before he created skynet and destroyed the world, effectively becoming a terminator herself with the same plan they had. I think this was something she realised which made her stop
There is a third film, Terminator 3: Rise of the Machines. It's not generally well regarded by the fanbase. Personally, I think it's a pretty good sequel, but T2 is so good, that it can't really compete with that. Also, it doesn't have Sarah Connor in it. Clare Danes is the female lead and is pretty solid, but it's not quite the same without Sarah. I'd recommend watching it for your own interest, but I suspect it wouldn't get a lot of support from your audience.
I love how many effects in this movie were practical stunts. Truck off the bridge? Real. Bike off the ledge? Real (with wires but shh). Helicopter flying beneath the overpass? Real. The T1000 getting shot? Believe it or not... practical effects with mylar and squibs.
the 2 times in all Arnold movies that I (even still, upon rewatching) think he might lose are Predator when the Predator starts fighting hand-to-hand, and this, when Robert Patrick grabs the shotgun in the mall fight, and Arnold looks at him like "wait, what?" This example is more impressive coz Robert is only using his acting; he has no scary makeup, and he's Robert-Patrick-sized. legendary villain performance, terrifying.
when the movie was released the trailers all had spoiled already that arnold is the good guy in this movie... very nice to see a "who are we rooting for" reaction
It is one of those rare sequels that it better than the original in almost every way. It expands upon and builds upon everything the original did, and the visuals still hold up very well today. And it feels even more emotional, as we see a machine developing a bond with humans and learning what it means to be a human and have meaningful connections with others. It's why T2 is considered both one of all-time best sequels but also one of the all-time best action movies.
Something about that shot with John and the Terminator near the end where they are hugging and the colour of the lava in the background, almost like a sunset in the background. One of most beautiful scenes in cinema history and of course with the musical score.
I watched Arnold's Netflix docuseries. Totally worth watching. He was/is a creative, ambitious, handsome, strong, intelligent force of nature. The only thing to hold against him a tiny bit was his use of steroids. I'm guessing that his use of them made future body builders think it was ok.
Scenes NOT in the theatrical version: The orderlies beating up Sarah. Sarah's dream about Kyle. The T-1000 killing the dog. Opening the terminator's skull to change the switch. Instead the line ends with "...the more contact I have with humans, the more I learn." John teaching the terminator to smile. Scenes of Dyson at home with his family. Them smashing up the lab with axes. The T-1000 malfunctioning after being frozen and shattered. There are two more scenes that weren't included in this version: After the T-1000 kills the dog, it searches John's room and finds the hospital's address on some letters, and an alternate ending showing that the war never happened. Old Sarah sits on a park bench while an adult john plays with his daughter. Sarah says he became a senator, and ends with the "If a machine can learn the value of human life, maybe we can too." line.

13:27 -- you are the FIRST reactor to get that right.. Dougie was testing Sarah to see if she was really drugged or if she was faking.. If she had reacted, he would have known she was faking being out of it ....

This film really completes the arc of the story. Unfortunately there are several more that are utterly unnecessary that were made to promote popcorn sales I suppose.
I disagree. A2 was a corny action flick mindnumb for most parts. It could have been set on Earth with the X substituted by a microbe brought back from our first explorations (either limited to Earth or not). Where is the proper horror and sci-fi? The tension? A2 is a step down from A1, and T2 is a step up from T1.

"So many vehicles destroyed." Please watch The Blues Brothers (1980) when you are in the mood for a musical comedy.
And a year after this movie came out, the Dyson company known for vacuums was born. It seems like the future is bound to follow the course laid out by this film.
This is one of the best sequels ever made. A truly perfect film. It's a good thing they never made anymore after this.
Just the three Indiana Jones movies and two Aliens movies. NO OTHERS.
They *did* make another, third one. Not very good, so many people think it might better not have been made. But it does tidy up the story and shows what the future becomes.
@@Keyboardje We were both joking, implying that the other films are so bad we don't acknowledge their existence.
That scene with Sarah holding onto the fence when the nuke went off, you said that was scarring. I watched this movie with my dad and sister when I was a kid, and during that scene my sister told me that could happen to us at any time. I started crying and will never forget it. I was traumatized. I won't forget, Kim
To this day, she is not Wrong.
So you could imagine this was Hank's job before he joined the DEA…
was that before or after he was a squad leader in Starship Troopers?
OMG I never paid attention to the SWAT team leader's face so I never knew it was Dean 😮😃
P.s. the roses being crushed under Arnie's feet after he whips out the shotgun is a nod to Guns n Roses - they did 'You Could be Mine' for the T2 soundtrack.
He also kept catching Edward Furlong on the bike! 😂🤣
He also practiced firing a gun without blinking
He also shouldn't owed Richie money.
Check him out in Reacher, Season 2 🙂
He was already a National level track champion. He could have taken that even further but he took an interest in acting in his college years.
Whenever Mary says "NI", it sounds so cute to my American ears.😊
I'm mainly watching her reactions for that!
Hell yeah 👍
Or try his film debut, "Hercules in New York", 1969. I don't thing you'll hear his voice though since I think this is one where they dubbed over him because his accent was so thick.
I think Twins fits the bill better. He still plays an action role in Last Action Hero.
Kindergarten cop 😀
No guys this is the perfect time of year for his holiday classic *JINGLE ALL THE WAY*
Masterpiece of a film, I’m 41 years old and the ending 👍 still destroys me every time! 🙏😂
Linda Hamilton's twin sister plays Sarah Conner in the playground scene and the security guard getting coffee also has twin brother who plays him in that scene.
sadly Linda's sister passed away a few years ago but yea she does look a lot like her sister.
Who else remembers "T2: BATTLE ACROSS TIME 3D"? It was a 3D Sim at Universal Studios and it was insanely great to experience.
went there, did it, and yes it was very awesome, also did the Back to the future ride which was also totally awesome.awesome.
The guy playing the helicopter pilot who jumps out when the T-1000 tells him to is the actual pilot of the helicopter! Further, he is the one who flew it under the bridge: That was not a special effect!
Yes there is a 3rd movie with John as an adult. I like it. Great reaction. 😊👏🥰
Simp
3rd movie? Hah, that's crazy talk. You're crazy. A psycho. I think that warrants a stay at Pescadero.
33:04 Famously, Martha Stewart was dating Anthony Hopkins and broke up with him after watching "Silence of the Lambs".
Two great comedies with Arnold Schwarzenegger are Kindergarten Cop and Twins they are great movies
“The amount of vehicles being destroyed…” 😂 You haven’t seen anything until you see The Blues Brothers!
Yes! The long awaited re-upload! Thank you!
Also for more Arnold and James Cameron - True Lies (1994), a great action comedy.
I can here the drums even before the titles begin 😅
I never saw the original Terminator before I saw the sequel - but I was aware of who and what Terminator was so the flip still worked on younger audiences.
This is the best of the series, to me. If you want to see a different Arnold then watch "Kindergarten Cop", it is really fun.
I think Mary would love that one.
This cut is an interesting one for sure. I'm more partial to the original theatrical cut but this was good
Dean Norris is an actor who portrayed SWAT Team Leader in Terminator 2: Judgment Day. He is known for portraying DEA agent Hank Schrader on the television series Breaking Bad.
Hank from Breaking Bad is in this, about 20 years younger. He's the cop who yells at the others to fall back when Dyson blows himself up (27:40)
Helicopters are called "choppers" due to the sound a two-bladed helicopter makes when the blades move through the air.
I remember the special edition DVD had the director's cut if you entered a code, which was Judgement Day: 82997
Glad you were able to get this one back up. A festive treat, and what a movie!
Fun fact, in English, a casualty can be a death, injury, or other ailment that removes someone from combat or similar incident. It doesn't *just* mean deaths.
Also, yes, there are a ton of terminator movies.. tons
People on internet have been arguing for over 130 years if Terminator 2 is a Christmas movie or not.
You didn't specified the time loop period.
11:00. I'll take "Things I Never Thought I'd Ever Hear Mary Say" for 800, Alex.
26:54. That's when you cut a guy in half with your mini-gun but he miraculously survives.
27:39. Fun fact: the guy in the mask there is ASAC Schrader aka Dean Norris from Breaking Bad.
33:26. Too cute. xD
Would be just annoyed when people talk in the movies.
It was just as real as the actual nuke test videos with their little plastic models and nuke proof cameras and film.
Every time they fight, the Terminator and T-1000 nothing say a word to each other
The "I know now why you cry, but it it is something I can never do" line is the best line in the franchise.
To me that is Linda Hamilton's last line.
"He's like a Nokia.... " Lmao!! You're amazing!🤣♥️
Merry Christmas Mary 🎄🎁🎅🏽🍪🥛❄☃️
I enjoyed your reaction to Terminator 2 , I'll be back 😎
In the 80s, there were a few film franchises in particular whose 2nd installment was the greatest of them all.
20:10
Sarah Conner: How much do you know about Dyson?
T-100: He makes great vacuum cleaners.
These two are obviously the best but the other sequels have some merit too. And also the TV series, The Sarah Conner Chronicles.
I don't buy that last one. If anybody was high, it was the person who wrote Dung Fate.
The actor who played Miles Dyson also played Lt McMilllan in the Speed Movies
If you're going to TH-camify more of your Patreon movies, would love to see:
*Gone Girl*
*School of Rock*
*Speed*
28:45 "Since when did it -- is it called 'chopper'? Does that come from somewhere?" Using "chopper" to refer to helicopters originated as military slang in the Korean War in the early 1950s.
A fun movie I think you might enjoy would be "Who Framed Roger Rabbit." Not sure how familiar with old school cartoons you are, old school Disney/loonytoons, but even if you aren't it's a great watch
If only for JR's "Why don't you do right?" ... Wow, what a lady!
In my opinion still on of the best sequels ever made. There are more Terminator films, but they feel not necessarily since the ending here is pretty much perfect.
The later movies are mainly cash ins.
A lot of sequels were really good back then. Alien, Terminator, Rocky, Mad Max, etc etc
STAR WARS!!!!!
The SWAT team leader (guy who says "Fall back!" when he see's Dyson with the detonator) is none other than Dean Norris (Hank Schrader)
You won't be missing out if you just stop at T2.
FYI it’s not the same Terminator from the 1st movie. There’s an assembly line of T-100s given Arnies skin and sent out to kill. Skynet sent 1 back for the 1st movie. John captured & reprogrammed a different but identical machine for this movie
Kinda cool to note that Sarah was going to try to kill Dyson before he created skynet and destroyed the world, effectively becoming a terminator herself with the same plan they had. I think this was something she realised which made her stop
T-800
There is a third film, Terminator 3: Rise of the Machines. It's not generally well regarded by the fanbase. Personally, I think it's a pretty good sequel, but T2 is so good, that it can't really compete with that.
Also, it doesn't have Sarah Connor in it. Clare Danes is the female lead and is pretty solid, but it's not quite the same without Sarah. I'd recommend watching it for your own interest, but I suspect it wouldn't get a lot of support from your audience.
I'm a fan of T3 and Salvation just because it rounds out John story from beginning to end. After that, it's just a mess of soft-reboots.
I love how many effects in this movie were practical stunts. Truck off the bridge? Real. Bike off the ledge? Real (with wires but shh). Helicopter flying beneath the overpass? Real. The T1000 getting shot? Believe it or not... practical effects with mylar and squibs.
Best one in the series.
the 2 times in all Arnold movies that I (even still, upon rewatching) think he might lose are Predator when the Predator starts fighting hand-to-hand, and this, when Robert Patrick grabs the shotgun in the mall fight, and Arnold looks at him like "wait, what?" This example is more impressive coz Robert is only using his acting; he has no scary makeup, and he's Robert-Patrick-sized. legendary villain performance, terrifying.
Yeah, the nuke scene is pretty legendary, still an amazing visual.
when the movie was released the trailers all had spoiled already that arnold is the good guy in this movie... very nice to see a "who are we rooting for" reaction
Great! This movie is absolutely fantastic! Mary, Merry Christmas!! 💖💖
The word "chopper" as a slang term for helicopter comes from the noise it's rotor blades make when it's flying. It's a "chop chop chop" sound.
I watched Arnold's Netflix docuseries. Totally worth watching. He was/is a creative, ambitious, handsome, strong, intelligent force of nature. The only thing to hold against him a tiny bit was his use of steroids. I'm guessing that his use of them made future body builders think it was ok.
Also the fact he cheated on his wife with the housemaid and had a son.
@@Eidlones Oh, yeah, that too!!
Everyone in Hollywood uses them now so he was ahead of the curve as far as steroids.
@@jrlonergan6773 Just because many people do something doesn't mean it's good. As you probably know.
Scenes NOT in the theatrical version:
The orderlies beating up Sarah.
Sarah's dream about Kyle.
The T-1000 killing the dog.
Opening the terminator's skull to change the switch. Instead the line ends with "...the more contact I have with humans, the more I learn."
John teaching the terminator to smile.
For more Arnold, in a bit of a different role than his usual, you should watch *Kindergarten Cop.*
31:50 The T-1000 malfunctions after being frozen and blown apart.
Thanks for reacting to this amazing sequel! Jim Cameron did an outstanding job, and the movie aged quite well.
The nuclear bombing dream gave me nightmares for days. hell, it still does!
Merry Christmas to you and your family! 🎄🎉🎀🎁🎍🖤💛❤
Yes, cause it’s actually a documentary 🔜 to happen. I’d be scared too.
13:27 -- you are the FIRST reactor to get that right.. Dougie was testing Sarah to see if she was really drugged or if she was faking.. If she had reacted, he would have known she was faking being out of it ....
Very few people react to Terminator three. I think you should react to it regardless of what other people might think of it.
It does add the last pieces to the puzzle. Also gotta watch the DVD Extra deleted Sgt. Candy scene. (It's on TH-cam.)
In war a casualty also count people who are no longer able to fight.
Fun fact: the film crew refused to shoot the scene where the helicopter flies under the overpass for safety reasons... so the director James Cameron filmed that himself😊
that's hardcore, but i don't blame the crew at all... not after what happened on the twilight zone movie
Casualty is a catchall word in military speak meeting anything to take someone out of combat, so if someone gets sick, wounded, captured, and yes killed but it can mean either or
Nice Reaction :) But you have to understand there will be always violence in a Terminator movie . This one here is BY FAR the best terminator and the best sequel ever made to a movie . And yes there is a 3rd movie and even sub story movies but to be honest the story ends for me with T2:Jugement Day
22:31 -- This should be required viewing for all world leaders.
Is this the extended version Mary? Many of us don't think it's the best. Too many scenes that are cringy, to use a phrase the kids use..
In military terms, casualty is a loss, not necessarily death. Casualties include dead, wounded, and missing. All are lost to the fight.
Yes there's a 3rd movie. You gotta react to it! (:
Did you notice that the SWAT leader who yells "Fall back!" was Hank Schraeder from "Breaking Bad"?
This film really completes the arc of the story. Unfortunately there are several more that are utterly unnecessary that were made to promote popcorn sales I suppose.
The term “chopper” for helicopters came out of the Korean War (1950-1953). This was the first widespread use of military helicopters.
T2 is an example of a sequel that actually improves on the original. Another one is Aliens, both directed by Cameron.
You have to ask yourself, what happened to all that skill when he started writing Avatar movies?
@@Pink.andahalf
You're just going to jab your finger right in the sore spot, aren't you? ;)
“How do you have 0.5 casualties?” OMG… this is a question I have had for so long… thank you for asking this as well!
