These battles were crazy! That first battle was awesome! But I think that second was just as good with the Magic Bounce, Attract, Destony Knot Espeon. Thick fat, snowball Appleton was smart as well. Also the epic won using protection on the power which is confusion.

Just occurred to me: If a shedinja with a balloon swapped in on an earthquake, you could potentially fool the enemy into thinking you had wonder guard when you actualy have sturdy.
Espeon and Latios: immobilized by love for almost 6 turns.

It's likely that the second battle was somebody trolling by using the moves the pokemon start with, however Azelf gets explosion of all things and i was really hoping that's what it was using on the last turn.

Back in X and Y I ran an Aegislash with Destiny Knot for the Battle Maison because it got attracted so often and I was tired of it. I eventually swapped it for a Lum Berry because there were a lot of statuses that made me lose my streaks too, but it still worked surprisingly well.

Pimpnite this was a splendid showcase of otherwise terrible items. I've said it before that you are like the rocket Raccoon of Pokémon battling.
I can't help but wonder what you could (or would) have done with a Utility Scumbrella, though.
I have a firespin binding band torkoal... with rest, amnesia, and yawn I live almost everything and rest it back up. So troll, don't discount it. I've almost swept several times
in that first battle if you had sucker punched the articuno you would have won the battle. :P

No. The extra damage each turn from infestation is the trapping effect, like the bind nihilego in the video. It's like a side effect of the move.

Edit: Not only makes those move deal more damage per turn, but it ensures that the opponent will be trapped for the max amount of turns!
I believe you're mixing up Binding Band and Grip Claw...
Binding Band causes the recurrent damage to be a larger percent of the affected Pokémon's HP.
Grip Claw ensures the maximum duration of a trapping move before the foe is released.

Most them items are legitemately good if you use Trick.
