A fun fact about the throne room, in retail WoW, if you turn off the soundtrack and turn up the ambient sound settings and go to the Undercity and the throne room, you can hear the bells, and if you look on the path there are still rose petals, as well as a splatter of blood where King Terenas's crown fell. You can also hear whispers and bits and pieces of dialogue as well

They put a lot of effort into redoing the character models and backgrounds, but they didn’t put as much effort into redoing the cinematics or using new voice actors.

I watched both and I saw no... besides the Arthas vs Illidan scene, the Reforged seems... clanky and stiff animations. The original didn't had that "stiffness" and it felt much more natural mainly it doesn't look photorealistic. The more realism in the cutscene made it off.

The Orc campaign was probably my favorite. It was pretty cool as a kid who started with Warcraft 2 seeing a new side to the Orcs, not all of them were evil. Thrall and his followers seeking a new home to build a new future was pretty touching.

For those who don't know the dark lord is nerzhul, yes the nerzhul from warlords of draenor, he was tricked by the burning legion when kiljaden spoke to him through his dead wife. He realized what happened and made a portal to northrend. Kiljaden ripped his body from his soul because nerzhul was to powerful not many can resist the burning legion. He bound him to be the lich king. Over time nerzhul started to be able to overpower it and he started seeking someone me he could bound himself to. Enter arthas. Arthas is only the lich king in that he can move around and do things but nerzhul was always the actual lich king.

They removed all mentions of "Grom" and poorly edited them with "Hellscream" on top of that they removed Arthas saying "What the hell is that?" When being introduced with meat wagons.The animations are stiff,models move sloooooooooowly and cuts between the character dialogue are cringe worthy like when Archimonde talks with Thrall after he says "The wretched little whelp actually hurt me" he walks slowly over to a certain point and then continues,where as in the OG he said it all at once with no edits or pauses,+ back then Thrall used chain lightning,that hit 2 times,but here he uses a regular attack,one word.Lazy.
The dreadlords look worse?? More cartoonish? The old version they only had skulls and looked more sinister... Why does one of the dreadlords had a dad bod sticking out?
My biggest issue with this game is NOT the fact that Reforged didn't keep its promises made to loyal fans or even the glaring bugs and issues with the game. Instead, it's the fact that Blizzard chose to CHANGE the original game. Had they not updated the classic game, at least people can fall back on the time-tested classic version of the game if anyone doesn't like the game. However, they actually updated the original version into a lower quality of the reforged, which essentially forces people to either accept the reforged version or leave the franchise. This will inevitably lead to an increase in the number of people pirating the game and lose faith in the company. Very poor business decision.

For those who don't know the dark lord is nerzhul, yes the nerzhul from warlords of draenor, he was tricked by the burning legion when kiljaden spoke to him through his dead wife. He realized what happened and made a portal to northrend. Kiljaden ripped his body from his soul because nerzhul was to powerful not many can resist the burning legion. He bound him to be the lich king. Over time nerzhul started to be able to overpower it and he started seeking someone me he could bound himself to. Enter arthas. Arthas is only the lich king in that he can move around and do things but nerzhul was always the actual lich king.
Blizzard had everything it could want. Love, respect, an amazing fan base. But it wasn’t enough for them.

It's so painful how far less expressive the characters' portraits are, they really should have kept the same art style when reforging Warcraft 3 instead of replacing it...

When being introduced with meat wagons.The animations are stiff,models move sloooooooooowly and cuts between the character dialogue are cringe worthy like when Archimonde talks with Thrall after he says "The wretched little whelp actually hurt me" he walks slowly over to a certain point and then continues,where as in the OG he said it all at once with no edits or pauses,+ back then Thrall used chain lightning,that hit 2 times,but here he uses a regular attack,one word.Lazy.
Couldn't agree more, all these dialogues between characters are awkward and feel unnatural. They could have put more effort in the game. Shame

My biggest issue with this game is NOT the fact that Reforged didn't keep its promises made to loyal fans or even the glaring bugs and issues with the game. Instead, it's the fact that Blizzard chose to CHANGE the original game. Had they not updated the classic game, at least people can fall back on the time-tested classic version of the game if anyone doesn't like the game. However, they actually updated the original version into a lower quality of the reforged, which essentially forces people to either accept the reforged version or leave the franchise. This will inevitably lead to an increase in the number of people pirating the game and lose faith in the company. Very poor business decision.
