I’ve always wanted to learn pattern drafting but it all seemed so complicated. Until I found your sundress video and it all seemed the click. Thank you so much for your helpful and informative videos! Keep up the great work!
Excellent video, it's a masterclass on drafting the skirt - great. I have been trying to take notes but gave up half way through. I will save for future use. I was wondering about the waist as my waist is 29" but my hips are 421/2" . I'll just have to just try it out. Need a flared skirt pattern now. Thank you Ali x
Your measurements are very similar to mine. I’d add 1.5cm to the back waist measurement and make each back dart 0.75cm wider. See how that fits. You could make the back panel a little bit wider than the front too if the side seams don’t sit well.
@@creativebobbin42 felt tip pen or a marker would make those lines pop and easier to see on camera, the darker the better, and maybe use red color for smaller details
It makes perfect sense. Now I just need to remember where to find this video when I need to do it. Thank you, I enjoyed learning how to do this.
You can save videos to your ‘play later’, should be an option below 😊
@@creativebobbin42 I did but then I never can find them...LOL I'll have my daughter show me where to find them. Thanks.

@@creativebobbin42 Thank you, I will try that x
It would be helpful if u use darker color marker to draw those lines
Thanks, do you think thicker or darker, or a bit of both?

This looks like a piece of cake compared to the bodice 😂. It's beginning to make sense to me now.
