I was and still is an avid Toyota fan. I “hated” atoy co, bogs adornado back in those days. After watching this vid, i give you my respect and admiration. The glow in your wife’s eyes says it all… you are a good husband, a father and a kind person. Kudos.
Nice to reminisce that I met and casually talk to Atoy Co, Phillip Cezar and Phillip Salvador especially. Ipe Restaurant is but across Barrio Fiesta Makati Avenue where I used to work. At the closing of our restaurants we had short chats with them in the small sari sari store of Manang just a few steps away of Ipe Restaurant owned by Phillip Salvador. Laging kinukumusta ni Phillip kung nakaubos kami ng paninda
I was still studying at Mapua when I witness Atoy's rise to fame. During our intramurals you would see the total support for Atoy by the entire Chemical Eng'g and Chemistry Department. Specially the young women of those Departments at that time. His athletic skills was already very noticeable even at that early times. It came as no surprise to any Mapuan when Atoy became a prolific basketball player. It's nice to know that he has a good moral and value compass that has guided his important decisions in life.
Happy to see u Mr.Atoy Co paboritong player ko sa Crispa, kahit Toyota team ang gusto ko..hihii..high school ako ng naging putok n putok ang team ng Toyota Crispa, now I'm in my 50's heheheheee
Solid Crispa here, I was in high school then, lagi binabantayan nmin sila Atoy at buong team ng Crispa sa labas ng Araneta Coliseum everytime na may laro sila. It's good to see him again. Sweet couple, Godbless you both.😊
Thank you Aster for this interview with my favorite PBA player Mr Fortune Cookie Atoy Co. Love to see him happy with wife Monette. Congratulations for a successful and Blissful life together. You’re both an inspiration. God Bless you both and your family 😍❤️❤️❤️
Very interesting interview with Atoy Co. I graduated ChE at MIT in ‘72 and I’m proud to say we had interaction with him. His locker was adjacent to us so we had the opportunity to chat. He was always very pleasant. He might not remember this but he had given us ride from MIT to the City Hall where we catch transportation to home. Glad to know he is doing well. Good luck to a successful farming.
Sweet memories of an era that cannot be recreated.
I had been a Crispanatic since I was in Elementary up to 1983 when the team was disbanded. College na ako non. It's nice to know that Atoy has been married for 43 yrs. I still remember when both of them were featured in Panorama Magazine. They were also on the cover photo. I think they were about to get married that time. To Atoy and Monette, more years of meaningful and happy life together.
GrandSlamat Po dito sa interview. Forever Crispanatic! Nang mawala ang CRISPA (Crisanta & Pablo), nawalan na ako ng gana sa basketball kahit pa nagkawatak watak ang mga players na napunta kung saan saang team, namatay na ang hilig ko sa basketball. Missing the smile and laughter of Mr. Danny Floro. Nag mag GrandSlam ang Crispa, lahat nang Sports Magazines and Newspaper sa Manila, binili ko. Ilang White and Colored Crispa Tshirts ang binili ko at sinuot kasama pa ang Crispa Jeans. Thank You, Atoy Thank You CRISPA.
1975 avid fan na aq ng crispa since then atoy co is my favorite player q sa pba high school days q dat tyme until now 62 yrs old n aq never q mkkalimutan ang crispa atoy co is my favorite pba player

43 years! Take that as an inspiration for everyone who is contemplating to marry. Atoy Co has been my favorite and now having seen how he became a committed man - because of Monette my admiration for Atoy was tripled. My husband and I are married 48 years. Marrying in the '70s was easy. Staying married is a different story There were just too many temptations to go astray so the Co-Garcia tandem has proven that couples can. Congrats Idol Atoy and Monette! Thank you Aster for featuring him and Monette. Makarit ka gud nga host and interviewer kabayan. Keep it up. Yours is one show I like to watch on YT.
Atoy Co my forever favorite Basketball player/icon! Your life is super inspiring both inside and outside the hardcourt ❤️❤️❤️ I pray God would give you your heart’s desire to have longer years to enjoy your family especially your precious apos and wishing you in advance a Happy 50th Anniversary with your lovely wife Monette.
