PelucaHagrid 21 Yes, I am using Witch Twist into Witch Strike on purpose! Actually some Top Bayonetta players do use this into their gameplay! But often or not a lot is used not intentionally. But with the right reaction time it’s possible.
I hope I don’t see people scared she’ll be “broken” these combos only work in very specific circumstances and bayo still has a lot of things that can be improved on as a fighter so please just enjoy!
personally I feel Bayonetta should be able to 0-death combo or at the very least take her opponet to the side ad 0-death or 20-death combo. I mean as light weight and very few kill options she has it makes sense she has to work pretty hard for her kills.

@@omarjanabi5801 witch strike refers to any witch twist where only the first hitbox hits, which us useful as the first hit cant be DId. Both the first and second up Bs are witch twists, it's just the circumstances they hit which determine the name given
@@grosssaft3700 actually if you played the bayonetta games, youll realise the first move is called witch twist in the games (usually done from the ground) and the second is called witch strike (works like afterburner kick in the bayonetta series where you can do 2 in the air) because the animation for the first up B is the animation of a witch twist in bayonetta (aka the swirls) and the second one is a witch strike (no swirls) Also ik smash fans use these terms for the way it hits but just clarifying my first comment
Please do a tutorial on witch strike. I'd love to have the basics of that down. It's something that would really help my game alot and i can't find any guides
@@milo5313 I know this is late, but Bayo can do 0 to death combos on basically any character in the game. But they typically take very good setup or a excellent understanding of Bayo. Bayo players work very hard to make these killing combos possible. It shouldn't be nerfed. BTW, Byleth still has their infinite that can be done on DK. It hasn't been patched. I doubt this will get nerfed.

Coming from an experienced bayonetta player (no offence lol) this combo is pretty good but the CPU probably has to DI up for this to work cause it seems a little tight for this combo to be good on its own without some support coming from which direction the opponent DI’s in, but you still have potential for becoming pretty good (I’ll say)

I havent had a chance to test di but i was labbing bayo combos and landing up air to f smash is true and kills at mid percent at ledge. You can hit with both sides of upair and it works but i had more success with the late hit of upair. It works on all characters sizes but i think floaties might be able to di up and fast fallers might be able to di down to escape. I havent had much experience playing in tournaments so i dont know how easy landing up air is to land in neutral but it could be a really scary mixup as it worked with all the characters i tested it on (pichu, bowser, fox, and peach), however for fox and peach the percent window is shorter
Right, you can also do FF Up air into RAR Up air into Back air at mid to high percents (60%-110%) or just FF Up air into RAR Back air (85%-120%) at high percents depending on the character for a true confirm! With Fast Fallers like Fox or Sheik is possible only on high percents for a 50/50 situations. But you can just go for ABK/WT B&B combo after the Up-air around? (80%-115%) FF Up air into F-smash is more situational just like FF fair-1 into F- Smash. So it’s better to keep it as a mix up at higher percents or when they are at the ledge!
Everyone! Only some exceptions for some characters for it to connect. Fast fallers is only possible if they DI Up or in at mid percents. But possible at very low percents if you catch them mid jump or on platforms! (Sheik(light), Fox, Falco, Roy/Chrom,Bowser) Heavies only thing is they can be caught mid jump, not from the ground. Characters like Mega-man, Piranha Plant, Terry, Shotos, Chrom,Pikachu have this weird weight/height proportion going on when they get by a Witch Strike that makes it awkward to connect so they are more situational on them. But their is other options to work over this. Should you get Witch Strike on them you just have to follow the Di on them which are confirm combos/ 50/50 K.O. Example: Piranha Plant after WS: Sends left: ABK-DABK-Wave bounce reverse Witch Strike - Back air. Sends forward: Up air- Witch Strike- Up air- ABK- DABK- Up air- Forward air Keep in mind these are various percents for them all depends on DI. So just those particular characters you have to watch out for when you want to perform the combo. Hope this helps! And thank you!

They feel oddly satisfying to me.

I can't get this to work :( each time i do the first jump cancel up b they always pop out too far above me and the DABK just misses :(

Not at all the only thing is having to space your Witch Twist to get the first hitbox. And following where that launches to follow up with DABK!
