If you move the middle up one with the largest block on the bottom, then move the top right twice the repeat the 2 moves (don't rotate the cube) you will get an interlocking piece that can build a wall with other mirror cubes

tip for notation if you have l2 instead of L2 so a lower case rather than upper case it means move 2 layer on the left so instead of being L2 M2 it could be l2

If you get 2 mirror cubes and do the checker pattern on both you can interlock opposite sides. Its a cool trick and I'm pretty sure I was the first person to do it
