As an 11 year old, it learned this piece a year ago and it was quite easy. It may look and sound difficult but no. It only took me 1 week. Btw, love the playing!
My dad got me a Solos for Young Violinists book and this song was in it, I sight read it and thought it was GORGEOUS, then I listened- SUCH A BEAUTIFUL YET EASY SONG!!
Hi! I'm playing this for band, and the beat is supposed to get slower as the piece goes on, but then go back to the original tempo in some places. I agree it's a bit confusing, but when you have the music in front of you, it's pretty easy to follow. Hope this helped!
I picked up a violin for 1st time 20 months ago (at 50 yrs old). This performance moved me. It was exhilarating & smooth as butter. What level do i need to be at to attempt this piece?

So please tell me after how many months I will be able to play this and plus my vibrato is still not smooth and silky nor my bowing. Sometimes it touch other strings.
Could you do The Boy Paganini by Mollenhauer? I will be playing that is a few weeks along with this piece and love to watch your videos for advice and suggestions on technique and whatnot. By the way, EXCELLENT playing. Truly beautiful.

As an accompanist, it was difficult to follow because the beat was not steady in many places. But just my feedback as an accompanist.

i would say lower intermediate i have played this and it isnt the hardest but some parts can be a bit tricky.
