Totally agree with Drew - Gafford and PJ are important pieces. No need for rash decisions to overhaul or wild chase for stars.
Need one scoring wing (15-18 pts) and a sharp 3s shooter. Also a separate coach for Josh, Maxi, DJJ, PJ to practice threes year round.

In this video You start off, rightly so, lamenting the Mavs very poor offensive performance in the finals. Basically, you pointed out that the finals disaster was mostly due to a lack of "supportive" scoring ..... And not due to the defence being unable to hold Bostons offence to a low enough score. No one is ever going to win a finals scoring below 100 points.
How to get more Mavs consistent scoring?
Another area to look at (besides the tragic 3 point shooting) ........ Almost all Mavs inside points came on penetration and finishing by their guards, Or, a few "Jams" by a Big camping at the "Dunker" spot after a lob.
As a second or third option to complete a play, as the shot clock winds down, the Mavs need one of their bigs to develop an inside, low post, game, beyond making a living hanging out a for an easy jam.. Both Gafford and Lively look like they could develop a bit more of an "Inside, back-to-the-basket" scoring game to alleviate a bit of the pressure on their 3 point shooters.

Need to get a 40% 3 point shooter that defend good. Kinda like cam johnson or Paul George. Need to trade josh green and Gafford
