  • The Dallas Mavericks got blitzed by the Boston Celtics from beyond the 3-point line in Game 1 of the NBA Finals. After falling down by 29 points, the Mavs battled back to within eight points in the third quarter but ultimately ran out of steam in a 107-89 loss. On this episode, we break down everything that went wrong for Dallas in Game 1 while also pointing out some positives that can be carried over to Game 2 on Sunday night at TD Garden. Can the Mavs' big men be more effective going forward? Can Kyrie Irving shake off his awful shooting performance? Will Luka Doncic be able to do more offensively while having to guard Jaylen Brown on defensive switches? Let's talk about it! #bluewirevideo

Of course, Kidd would not be prepared.

Imagine if we had a coach who went into the game looking to explore mismatches?

Luka getting cooked just trying tp bring the ball up court in the 1st half? Massive.

Maybe more prep where folks other Luka are attacking matchups?

Your point guard is an ISO ball dominant player.

Hate to say it but Boston is a lot better team than the Mavs. Im pretty sure the goal was to get out of the 1st round and look. We have a good team but we need Lively a couple years to develope, a backup pg and the opportunity to grow and develope as a team.

More to come from Kyrie...Boston fans are in his head. Plus, the Celtics are collectively a terrible matchup for Kyrie as it is.

PJ was always garbage as a defender.
