About damn time us Trito boys got some love! It's been tiring hearing "ranger this" "hilux that" "dmax blah blah" pretty keen to see the new MV in action!
The build looks awesome! So glad to see a Triton finally on the show. The amount of money and Mods you guys do to your Cars could easily make a epic Triton build
The lights obstructing the airflow to the intercooler is a concern, given the stock FMIC is average at best. Better off replacing the GMIC with a PWR or HPD unit.
Love my GSR Mr Triton been all around aus down gun shot sunny coast tracks, broke 2 cvs sending it to hard and almost rolled it once. Great Ute for 55k I probably put 15 - 20 k in mods on it. Cant wait to see how the newer model handles the bush.
@ has a trans cooler? I drove it for about 10 hours straight towing caravan across the null on a 35+ day no temp change? Or are you talking about the new one?
Love our 2024 all new Triton! A workhorse for our farm and a family car. We love the riding comfort and added tech for cruising along the highway or just stop and go in urban driving.
Great project the Triton looks brilliant and so much lighter than a Ranger etc this thing should go anywhere. Possibly too many driving lights might cause overheating. Put em on the rack
One day we will see a Paj on the tracks... Maybe... This Triton looks really good. (I own a Toyota, just do like to see the other options out and about)
Used to enjoy this channel - please get back to basics - these mega expensive fit outs don’t pass the pub test - atm Grahams Off Grid is best content by heaps. Had my whinge 👍
Not sure if there is anything changed in the way of cooling from the MR but that bar and spotties looks like it would block a lot of the air flow to the rad.
My first car was a 1996 Pajero. 3.5ltr Magna motor and in full green (from what I know was a bit of a rare model) thing was on worn miss matched tires but loved the full noise mang through the local pine forest. Thing was bullet proof
Looks bloody mint, only thing I would change is swap them round driving light out for a light bar on the front. Simply cause they are blocking a shit load of air flow to the radiator
Seems like a decent bit of kit the new triton, got a lot of upgrades from the old one, especially the wheel base, pity they don’t have a v6 model, unreal setup gents
Well done guys anyone would be proud to own this 4x4 - I have a v6 Ranger but this mitusbishi looks proper!!! Keen to see how it performs when you take it out - awesome work as always!!
Great build on the MV with plenty of quality gear. Would have definitely liked to hear what the wheel and tyre sizes were though. Be keeping an eye out on the Tassie episodes for sure.
As a toyota own from hilux ,fortuner to a vx lc300. Triton is was my first 4wd and it was very reliable .but down side with low power and towing wasn't the best . But for the new freshly who want affordable 4wd that quite capable for 4wd and very reliable cheap on fule . Triton is worth every cent you going to spend .
Pajero will piss on triton due to weight distribution , both great vehicles but the wagon has better off road capabilites due to weight spread and 4 wheel independant suspension.
@@cordellroberson532 at the speeds they'll be going this is completely irrelevant, because there is no air flow anyways. What's important is if your coolers are big enough and if you got good fans
? I don't know what test you watched, but unless you're driving on a race track or go down extremely long hills with unbraked trailers, brake upgrades are really not necessary. Edit: grammar
I really like these new Tritons.i don't think the shower attached to the car is a good idea.whats the cost of this build? $30k or more? I'll have to go and watch your review. 😊
Looks dam good should go good off road with finally a proper suspension set up good on the mits for updateing that, what tray and canapy is it looks the part want something just like that?
these rebuildable shocks are a false economy as the rebuild kits cost as much as a new shock + labour. and you've still got possible scored shafts and body
@Blacktriton19 I had to goto your channel to see this better looking MR. It looks very capable and practical, but looks wise, I much prefer the boxy look and lines on the MV. Much tougher 💪
About damn time us Trito boys got some love! It's been tiring hearing "ranger this" "hilux that" "dmax blah blah" pretty keen to see the new MV in action!
FACTS!💯💯💯💯😁
Finally someone does a Triton. Well done
Great to see a Mitsubishi on the channel
Glad to see Tritons being represented!!!
Can’t believe it’s not a Toyota
Or Nissan's
Yeh same, totally thought it was til I saw the badge 😂
It’s a Datsun Nissan Renault Mitsubishi Triton!
What else could you possibly want.
As funny as it sounds .....BUT....
Mates Mahindra supprised the crap outta me , im thinking of changing..
@@caseyhopkins6299 L200/Triton is complete Mitsubishi desing, from head to toe.

About dam time that a triton is about to come to the channel
Aw heck yeah, a Triton finally makes it on a trip, I can’t wait 🙌🏽
Good to see a triton and looking forward to seeing it on the tracks.
Nice to see a triton, it looks good too!
The lights obstructing the airflow to the intercooler is a concern, given the stock FMIC is average at best. Better off replacing the GMIC with a PWR or HPD unit.
Sweet a triton I am sure it will do great
The lights cover the radiator. Everyone forgets airflow into the radiator also the intercooler and transmission cooler. Too many lights, wankfactor.

Have an mr also. But with all that bar work at the front good luck with heat towing a trailer

@@DFRAdventures sorry yes that new one.
@@jasonlammas5341the new one has a transmission cooler
@@southerncomfort2792 shouldn’t over heat then. Even with bar work lights what not.
I love Tritons! How will the cooling go with 4 spotties in front of the grill?
Mitsubishi Triton 💪🏻💪🏻💪🏻💪🏻💪🏻
i would love to see you guys do this with the older 2007 model tritons honestly. they dont get as much love as they should be getting.
Finally something different for once, good stuff.
1:27 hes talking about changing the spring collar height and you are showing him twisting the shock dampening valve knob.

I'd love to see a fully locked second gen
Tell em the price son
This looks like a great project you guys have taken on. Cant wait to see, how it goes on the tracks.
This is really awesome! Your humble attitude mixed with humor is entertaining.

Triton💪🏾🔥

Great rig guys, I own a Mitsubishi Pajero and love it. Great to see it’s not a bloody Toyota 😊
Saw a triton had to click on the video
A man of culture it seems
Ditch the spotties. Give it some airflow.gonna cook it.
It’s not an old 2H mate. It’ll be fine. Especially with the thermofans these newer cars have

Hell yeah 😎 brother, I am getting a triton, great value for money 💰. For a family man 👨👧👧. Thanks for your help in deciding what to buy 👍.
What, no way... wait a minute your actually going to feature a vehicle thats NOT toyota?? The comments on the last vid got to yas didnt they?....
What a Triton

sooo what size tires did you put on it 🤔
Great build on the MV with plenty of quality gear. Would have definitely liked to hear what the wheel and tyre sizes were though. Be keeping an eye out on the Tassie episodes for sure.
Looks good. I would be concerned about lack of air flow to the radiator and intercooler with so many bolt ons...
Looks good, how much did it cost though?
What about air flow to many lights

I kinda want one now
Love it looks so good I would love to have one like it well done guys. Can’t wait to see how it goes in Tassie one of my favourite places to go.
Getting rid of the huge factory plastic bumper really improved the looks and approach angle.
Looks mint!

What size lift and tyres?
would like to know also ??

@@toms4x4andmechanical83 thank you
Patiently waiting for the next Off-Grid adventure... beautiful rig though.
That's a great looking ute. I've had mine for 6 weeks now and working out what I need. Thanks for the ideas.
I've had my MV for about 6 months now and it hasn't missed a beat. Even stock it handles the beach and soft sand effortlessly.
Big Yokohama fan
Can’t wait for the main event
Supeeer cool look ❤
Triton 247
Last time I was this early.... I was also up at midnight in USA lol!!
Lazy work .... what tyre and rim size was selected and why ? ....
You should take a closer look at the 3.2L ML.
Finally!!!!!!!!!
What's the general opinion of Mitsubishi in Australia?
Pajero will piss on triton due to weight distribution , both great vehicles but the wagon has better off road capabilites due to weight spread and 4 wheel independant suspension.
Independant suspension is not good for off road
In the US, they are considered to be the lowest quality japanese car in competition with nissan.
I like the MR tritons better it still looks amazing
Better to have airflow than driving lights in this day of good headlights. Drive a bitvslower at night for those few times you do.
Its the New LandCruiser Triton I Reckon
Interested to see if it get HOT pushing mud with the charge air cooler blocked by winch and lights.
The MV has a massively improved cooling system over the old MR. People are towing 3.5T vans up big hills and temps don't budge.
@@richardtimms6645 even with 60% of the factory air flow sealed off?
@@cordellroberson532 at the speeds they'll be going this is completely irrelevant, because there is no air flow anyways. What's important is if your coolers are big enough and if you got good fans
@@Harry_Gersack true, that blocked airflow will reduce what the fans can draw.
If it does heat up this new design 2.4 will feed less fuel to injectors
I would have been very interested in a total build cost for all that.
Now let’s see what this underdog can do.
Hopefully got some Bendix brakes on it - after watching the Wagon testing vid, even Brembos are no match for the Bendix brakes according to old mate!

What does that canopy do to your rear sensors and camera?
Probably eliminates them
Relocated
What happens to the factory parts taken off the Triston ?
I would remove all them spotties your intercooler and radiator is starving for air
What brand rim?

Along with the UVA + lift. Would you also put in a diff drop?
How about the time frame getting back on the road ?
Is the front end on a MV same as a D23? Looks very similar.
Yes
Nope
Not a fan or that style of bullbar but love a triton
Patrol vibes I'm getting
Why is the B-roll front bar and the bar with the 4 spotties you speak about different?
Give the Toyotas and Nissan's a run for their money

Man the front of that is horrific. Glad finally a Mitsubishi though
