Ever since I started watching these videos and canceled my hairstylist, my hair has grown back like crazy. 20 inches to be exact. My son's hair 26 inches! Moreover, my Cosmetology teacher was white, rude, and did not know anything about Black hair and taught us nothing. Thank you and Happy Holidays!! ❤
Kelsey, I really appreciate videos like this. I know they’re not easy to make. I do extensive hair routines like this and those are hard enough on its own so to film it and edit it. I’m truly grateful for. 🙏🏽 I will pay money for videos like this once I find a way to donate to your channel. I definitely will. ❤
Yessss, the hairspray trick I’ve been doing for a couple months when I want it to last. HappyCurlHappyGirl is the person I learned that from! Happy Holiday’s tho Kelsey and Kendra 🎄🎁❄️
Love this video!! If you could do a video with yourself and Kendra or just yourself on why you guys are now full time curly and if you guys will ever go back to straightening it. And or ways and styles to retain length while being curly love you guys long time supporter ♥️
This longer video is bomb af! I’m more than sure everybody will be revisiting this video over and over for years to come. Thank you for sharing and being so detailed to help all of us through our hair journeys!! ❤❤❤
Your hair looks amazing Kelsey 👏🏾 😍.. chileee I'm still tryna get a twist out goin on my natural hair but I think for 2025 I'm gon give it a go 😄 we'll see 💚
I have been watching you all since 2012/2013 and I rarely comment but I had to just thank you Kelsey for putting me on to the hairspray!!! I have never been able to make my wash n go's last and have always had to resort to braid outs. But ever since you put me on omggggggg!!! I get a full 7 days out of my wash n go's now!! I use the Got2b hairspray after applying my products and I can honestly say I have mastered my wash n go's thanks to you. You and Kendra have literally saved my hair 😩
That was a long video but good to see what products you use on your hair for now. Yes I’ve heard not sleeping in hair mask so I’ll leave it in for 30 mins max. My hair goal for 2025 is to grow my hair back to mid back length since I did cut my hair into a shoulder length bob earlier of this year.
Omg yes! I love the shea moisture hair mask. I also love living proof hair mask as well. You both really know your products and what works/ not. I love this
Great video! My goal is to stick to my routine - which is weekly washes and deep conditioning. I’m planning to try out some of the masks you mentioned. Thank you so much for this video it’s super helpful. X
Hey Kelsey! Thank you for the long hair video. I really appreciate the step by step to healthy long hair. Your hair looks so pretty!! These steps you can't go wrong with getting waist length curls.
I really enjoyed your weekly hair routine and thank you for explaining how and why you are using particular products. Do you go to the salon when you add black hair dye or do you color your hair at home?
I loooved this video! it is super helpful as a girl who hasn't done a wash and go in almost 2 years it's great to see how you care for your hair every night and keep it moisturized. thank you!
Been watching you forever and was about to start your old straight hair routine for winter! What made you stop straightening your hair in fall and winter? 🩷🩷
Idk what's been going on lately with my hair, seems so dry and damaged looking. This winter weather makes it worse. Will be trying lots of these tips, thanks for sharing.
I’m washing my hair right now too and learning from u as i go❤❤❤I use the olapex system on my hair then I mix their conditioner with my deep conditioner. Loved how your turned out. Happy holidays 🌲🌲🌲
Hey kels❤ maybe go and have a dermatologist look at your scalp close up to see what the exact issues are so u can treat them? As u mentioned your scalp gets very itchy ❤❤
Hi Kelz, loved the detailed hair video! 💖 Your hair is looking beautiful and healthy! Yes to keeping the hair mask in your hair for a longer period of time. I just don’t sleep in it either. I gotta get one of those detangling brushes. Merry Christmas to you and Kendra! ❤️💚❄️🎄🥳🍾
❤ great video I love the long videos also i miss the straight hair in the fall and winter. Its all good though keep up the good work and success on your journey to waist length hair 😊
Goals for this coming year is perfect my curl pattern first and foremost. This secondly will be color for the first time ever....! This all depends on my curls and how they want to do.
Great video Kelsey! My hair goals is to have natural hair that grows and gets healthier and thicker! Like everyone always says, healthy hair grows - so no length point goal per se - just grow as much as possible. #LOVEANDLIGHT
My cousin hip me to the Felicia Leather wood brush back in 2021 it is the only brush i use now. I heavily saturate my hair with Warm water it truly is best for detangling my hair too. I have very little tangles. It's amazing saves so much time in my hair routine. I'm off the buy the Nexxus shampoo and conditioner HAPPY 2025 to u💁🏾♀️🙋🏾♀️
I am always hearing not to sleep in hair masks. But I am like you. I don't sleep in them, but I don't leave them on for just 5 to 10 minutes either. I also tend to sit under the dyer for half an hour and then let it it cool down for another half and hour. I am like you. I may have one or two cheaper masks but most of my masks cost more than $20. So I want the most out of them.
I love you guys for sharing all your wonderful products. I was wondering though, do you share a bathroom with your sister? If so, where does she keep all her products? :o)
She’s telling the truth about vertical detangling with the Felisha Leatherwood brush. I’m VERY tender headed, but I can handle this brush. #GameChanger
I have to disagree with you about the time length for deep conditioning. If you use a heat cap, dryer or steamer will be more effective. Heat helps with the conditioner to penetrate the hair shaft.
You’re hair looks so damage you went to school to be a hairstylist just so you can do your own hair and damage it. You and Kendra used to have such long hair thick hair.
I thoroughly enjoyed this longer video. I will be watching it three more times tonight....My entire evening's entertainment. ❤😂😂
I watch the video in segments so I can really take in what she has to say.
Ever since I started watching these videos and canceled my hairstylist, my hair has grown back like crazy. 20 inches to be exact. My son's hair 26 inches! Journey to waist length and address my breakage issue in 2025. I also want to focus on my density; I notice I have been seeing some thinning.
Vertical brushing is a game changer. It definitely saves time with detangling my hair.

I’ve been watching you guys since I was in high school & your hair still looks so pretty & healthy!! 😍

My goal is bra strap length, maintaining moisture, and reduce any breakage.
