    One thing I forgot to put in the video, make sure you know what the balloons will look like once inflated. The colors aren't the same once they're blown up. Everything came out beautifully, but I was going for a whole different color scheme. 😅

      Really? It looks like the chicken wire would be easier. Im sure it takes longer to put on wall. But i like the fact that it already has the holes and the shape. I think this one looks better than the fishing line one!! But im barely going to try this for the first time so we will see. Thanks for the video. Ive been watching alot and this one seems the best DIY.

    Using the hot glue gun will it not pop most of the balloons. Very beautiful and creative color combo and work

    • @KeturahJaneen1
      @KeturahJaneen1  5 ปีที่แล้ว +1

      Thank you! No, you use a low-temperature glue gun. It’s just hot enough to melt the glue, but not hot enough to pop the balloon.

    You're so creative and did all of this while pregnant. You're my hero! Lol!
    This is simply beautiful. My daughter's first birthday is this weekend. The theme for her birthday is hot air balloon. Or a vintage hot air balloon theme. I've created this cute little basket with Garland around it and I'm going to have helium balloons obviously to make it look more like a hot air balloon but for a backdrop I can't really come up with anything. I think this is my perfect solution. This will be beautiful around the dessert table. I'm going to attempt to do this with our color palette for the balloons. Be honest, is this very difficult to create? You make it look so easy! And is this something I can do like a day ahead of time or two days ahead of time or will the balloons start to go down? Thanks!
    Many blessings, Misti

    • @KeturahJaneen1
      @KeturahJaneen1  5 ปีที่แล้ว

      Mhara7012 Usé una pistola de pegamento de baja temperatura. El pegamento es la temperatura adecuada para mantener los globos juntos sin reventarlos.

    This is beautiful! If you don’t mind me asking, how much did this cost?

    • @KeturahJaneen1
      @KeturahJaneen1  6 ปีที่แล้ว +4

      Emily Klein hey, I don’t mind. All the balloons I bought were from party city and were under $25. I bought the rose gold balloons on Amazon though. They were $8. The chicken wire was $12 for the entire roll but I only used 10-12ft of that. Everything else I already had. So essentially you could do this project for under $40!

    You did a really good job. The title is a bit off putting as if those who do this for a living are ripping people of or their time is a waste of money. Yes the supplies only cost you about $40 but how much time did it take you?. When it comes to professionals you are paying for their time. If you have the ability and time to do it AWESOME but it is not a "waste of Money" to hire a balloon artist.

    • @KeturahJaneen1
      @KeturahJaneen1  6 ปีที่แล้ว +10

      Thank you. I respect and welcome your opinion. When it comes to the title, FOR ME it would’ve been a waste of money to hire and/or purchase a kit for this garland when it’s so easy to do yourself. It took me a few hours to complete and I’m glad that I made the decision to try it out. Buuuttt, who has time to really explain all the logistics behind why I chose that title, right? ☺️

    • @KeturahJaneen1
      @KeturahJaneen1  6 ปีที่แล้ว +1

      And I meant to add, I did not intentionally try to disregard what professionals do! So if I did, I apologize.

    • @afualareine
      @afualareine 5 ปีที่แล้ว

      They charge TRIPLE the amount. That is a waste of money, If three of girls and I can do this; that will mean less time & less finances wasted. I'm planning a shower now and the prices being quoted to me are disgustingly to high to find out this is all it takes.

    • @Geneau14

      @@KeturahJaneen1 It would have been useful to see how you actually attached the tape to the wire. I would agree we were just watching you do it w/o really having tangible steps. I'm sure those who mastered your technique did other searches before reaching yours or just got lucky. The goal in making a tutorial shouldn't just be short and sweet but also efficient.
