I have followed Ben Crump and members of his law firm. He rarely goes to court himself. He lets his hired lawyers do it for him. All he cares about is when the next shooting will be. I have followed Ben Crump and members of his law firm. He rarely goes to court himself. He lets his hired lawyers do it for him. All he cares about is when the next shooting will be. I promise you, he will be at the grieving families door as fast as he can. He's an ambulance chaser, and he makes more money off of death than the families do. He's been involved in every high profile police shooting. Trayvon Martin, Michael Brown, etc. He puts on a good show for the public, but all he cares about is the money. You don't have to believe me. You can look him up yourself. He's not a hero or a friend to anyone.

Oh Mr.Crump, I am so inspired by you! I have been a psychiatric, hospice, mental health and geriatric RN 4 38 yrs now. My daddy wanted me to be a Nurse but I wanted to be a lawyer. I am a 57 yr old white lady in the South from TN. Despite my best efforts, have been unable to see much change in my State. I so dream that I could work with your team because I dont know alot of white folk who can truly empathize with the pain. I truly try although will never truly feel it. Civil rights means everything. Comparing Mr. Crump to Johnny Cochran is, in my humble opinion, an insult to Mr. Crump. Cochran was a real scumbag, who defended the guilty with full knowledge and acceptance of that guilt. Everyone deserves a defense, but not a disingenuous attempt to escape responsibility through legal convolution and jury and media manipulation. I respect Crump. Cochran was an unapologetic defender of the guilty.

I hope the litigation will advance beyond civil settlements at some point. After all, it's not about money. Money cannot replace the lives of the murdered. We need criminal CONVICTIONS to show these folks that we're not going to stand for 21st lynchings. As for Johnnie Cochran, he was working on a major reparations case on behalf of American descendants of slavery when he died. And some find it oddly suspicious that he died in the middle of building this case.
