A simple idea transformed this ugly nightstand.

I picked up this single nightstand from Marketplace for $40. With hints of mock art deco and a horrid finish, this Oak piece was crying out for a re finish.

I think I must be one of the rare ones, because when I saw the original handles, I thought "wow, they're gorgeous". When I saw the new handles, I thought it gave the piece a sleek, more modern, and gorgeous look. It would now look great with an MCM bedroom set, suiting it better than the AD set it probably came from. Well done.
