In working with the college museum, I’ve heard all too often about family collections donated with ZERO locality data. As mentioned, these fossils suddenly become worthless to scientific study. 😢

Buuuuuut you know torches are obsolete right? Unless you are about to explore some deep unknown caves and need to ligh an area the size of a football field for 6 hours. For everything else, the torch on your phone works.
