You know what I love about super sonic? Whenever he uses it, it’s because the situation is that drastic and he needs that form to save everyone. And it’s not used everyday as a childrens play thing and devalues it. (Cough, Goten and trunks. Cough.)

I preferred it when Super Sonic was integrated into the story rather than a form you activate randomly in the levels. It made it feel more special and grandiose.

Yeah but it was not fun, the 3D Super Sonic bosses suck (other than Sonic Adventure) yeah it can be incorporated but atleast make him playable after you beat the entire game.
@@mober7430 I enjoyed every boss fight that had him transform. I thought they were all epic! From Adventure 1 to Unleashed, so agree to disagree I guess.

@@SillyDrifloon Yeah Super Sonic has not been in the story for a long time, I’m fine with it, but at least make the boss fight more fun and interesting, also let us play Super Sonic in level after you beat the game like the classic games.
I never played Sonic 06 but seeing all three of them go super still one of the craziest scenes in Sonic history
I own 06...beat it too (hardly saw any bugs) you should try it some time..its fun (you can toss stuff around as silver)

But he should definitely try out sonic p-06! That is such a passion project that can be fun and has so much about it to truly show the ambition they were going for. Mind you, it doesn't have everything since he is building a good chunk from scratch.

Sonic 06 is good? All the reviews I've heard about it are that it's one of the worst sonic games ever
@@Alexli71 It's not if you're playing base game. Most people ,including me, love the game despite its flaws. Just can't recommend it unless you're playing Sonic-P06.
1 of the reasons people talk about that game fondly is from memories people have built with the game. 2nd is that it was the last time for a while when Sonic Team really tried to go all out on a game. After Sonic 06, they never really tried to go for the stars again until I'd say recently.

Also,as the quills go in front of sonic they make some sort of calming feeling like s divine form should be, because it changes a spiky hedgehog spines to a soft hair thst points towards you

Technically we did. We have the 7 small ones and the master emerald is just 1 big chaos emerald. Ik the master emerald doesn't count as being one, but it technically does when you think of it that way

WAIT NOW THAT I THINK ABOUT IT i know the sega devs were big fans of dragon ball and did many references like super sonic and more but one more that nobody has talked about is that when you lose rings while you are super sonic mode is a reference about dragon ball Z - Kaioken a transformation which goku used and it makes him more strong but the price that it hurts him
SEGA must be taking some inspiration on the Super Saiyan from Dragon Ball, hence Goku and Sonic's yellow color scheme.
This is actually correct, if you look at the concept art for Super Sonic, it's a near perfect replication of one of Super Saiyan's comic frames.
