"Marques Brownlee biggest tech review youtuber of all time did 100 videos to get 78 subscribers" Dude that part encouraged me so much, I needed to hear that because I have felt like I had been hitting a wall in trying to figure out what to change next to continue to grow! Awesome video thanks!
2 sentences stuck with me: 1. Big youtuber makes 100 videos to get 78 subscribers 2. How long does it take to be successful youtuber? It will take as long as it needs. That's an attitude! Thank you for sharing that 🙏
Growing a TH-cam Channel from 0 may feel like it's impossible but everyone starts at 0. But one of the tools that I know helps me with my videos is Tubebuddy: tubebuddy.com/awesome

You're right, we're not entitled. Hard not to feel that way sometimes. Starting a channel is so dang hard and getting found is even harder! The moment you want to give up, is the moment you decide if you're committed! Thanks for the tip!
But there are many people who just get lucky or have rich parents who dumping money into them Its hard when these kind of people get famos over the people who has talent but no big money
Slowly we small youtubers grow. We have to take small steps to get to where those Big youtubers are. Patients is what some of us lack though. Being social can also be something that we lack like me. We make videos and do what we can but people like me don’t know where to start. I got no good equipment sadly. I also don’t have much connection to sites like facebook or twitter. If we want to be a youtuber....we gotta learn to love what we make. It’s how youtube is. It makes us want to show people what we want and enjoy. We can’t make everybody happy with what they see in our channel. We do what makes us have fun. It’s a difficult road for me to walk but i still try. As a new youtuber all your tips are really helping me. There are questions that i had and your videos are helping me answer them. Thanks man.
This video gave me the motivation 4 months ago to get serious about building my channel. I had a legacy channel with just a couple videos, but I re-branded it and started following your advice. Today I hit 100 subscribers. I've been adding videos regularly (now have 30) and am scheduling uploads in advance to make sure I get the consistency you talk about. Also, I use Tubebuddy which helps in many ways. I'm still experimenting with specific subject matter, the way I present the content, length, etc., but I'm starting to get enough views that I can make decisions about what works and what doesn't work. My per-video views are still far too low to please me, but I hope to see big increases when I crack the code about what attracts the most eyeballs in my writing niche. I feel like I owe you a lot, Roberto. Not only for the practical advice you offer, but also for the inspiration. Thank you.
I’m watching this in 2019 and these are STILL phenomenal tips Roberto. Of course, the guidelines have changed for monetization though. Can you speak on the new TH-cam guidelines next? I’m a new TH-camr and these videos are helping me so much!
I stated from zero and I have almost 70 subscribers. Not a lot but a start. I’m proud of how far I’ve come, it’s most definitely challenging but not impossible. So you CAN do it it’s just about devotion. Not trying to promote just trying to encourage 😂🙂.
Seriously guys, I followed a lot of what he talks about, just started last week, and I have over 2 days of view time, 100 + views per episode. All we can do is keep improving! TH-cam is a community and a team! We are here for each other!
Omg... New tuber here and at tip # 3 I high key got so embarrassed! I went back to that particular youtubers video and deleted my " sub for sub comment." The first and last time I will ever do that. Even as I was typing it I felt that it was wrong. Thank goodness it was posted just a few days ago. I feel so much better now. Great info!
Maaaan I wish I would have stumbled across this video 2 months ago but HAAAY I just hit 100 SUBS and I feel great about establishing a URL. I love how straight forward you are
The thing I love the most about this video is that it has almost NO CUTS. He speaks fluently and that's , at least from my perspective, very authentic! Thanks Blake for this awesome content :)
bro, I totally love the truth you're throwing out there. in a culture that refuses to put in the hard work, you're straight spitting truth. very refreshing! Thank you.
Humanity has always been this way though and you can say that about any characteristic; friendliness, selflessness, sense of humor, etc. Some people just have a specific trait that really jumps out and that happens to be one of his.
I just started my TH-cam channel and I’am having fun with it so far. Personally, I just doing this for fun and wanted to do something different for 2018. I know I have a lot to learn but I am committed to my channel.
I love this series. So much more real valuable advice than a lot of channels. Serves as good motivation to keep going too. Love the part about nobody deserving an audience.
These are some great tips! My favourite one is the "work hard, you have to earn your success" I just started my channel & every! word of this video MATTERED to me. Thank you so much for sharing your wisdom in such a clear and easy to understand way. "It takes as long as it takes" ❤️ I feel like I will be watching this video again and again and again. Thank you.
I love what you said Roberto! "It takes as long as it takes". That is complete truth. It is so easy to look out our journey and compare it to other TH-camrs but the reality is that our journey is unique. Enjoy the journey! Its hard trying to grow a youtube channel but every new thing I learn is one step closer to getting better. Plus it helps that I find the whole process of sharing my truth fun. Keep going everyone.
Exactly! (Also hello again!) Everyone's unique, as are all channels and journeys, so perseverance and passion should be the driving factor, not views and sub count :)
Hi Roberto. i started a youtube channel a couple of months ago. we had zero subs. Following your tips has gotten us to grow to 500 subs which is hugeeee. We hope by march 2017 we grow to 1k . thank you so much!
It’s kind of like a new band starting out. Whether a band is popular and has sold millions of albums, or just a local band with only a demo CD out, people are going to check them out and try and find new things they like. Also it takes a lot of work and patience for a band to get big and noticed as it does as a TH-camr. And I can’t stress this enough but you CANNOT go into it for the money, you gotta go into it for the passion and love what you are doing and if you play your cards right, the money will eventually come. Great tips dude!
I just hit my 50th video after watching your tip videos. I remember you saying that if you wanna double your views double your videos so I went from 1 video a week to 5 videos a week and it has helped dramatically. All thanks to you.
You are so encouraging. Making it to 100 isn't even easy, I'm learning to be patient and just going for making a stack of videos to help my consistency. Your vids are so helpful, thanks 👍
I love how all your advice videos are so down to earth and realistic. I love learning a bit more about TH-cam and finally someone who is super down to earth and real is pretty great haha :)
Thank you so much for making these videos! FINALLY someone is speaking the truth. We are a small TH-cam channel just wanting to spread the comedy. The money would be great and the fame but our main goal is doing this for us. We love the fact that, that one person is messaging us all the time. The fact that one person loves us so much that they are going to message us every time, MAKES OUR DAY. I would say the hardest thing about youtube right now is of course getting view but it would also be, What to film?? Our minds go blank sometimes on "what should we film today?" lol There is so much content out there that is funny and somethings we want to do the same thing but how can we film something that someone else has done without looking like we copied them?
Great message. I started doing TH-cam to share my humor and comedy but due to time and commitments that directed me towards something that was slightly something else (ended up as a Let's Play Channel) I think that hampered my growth but there was so little I knew about video-editing, getting comfortable with equipment and presentation, that it really became a period of education instead. Thanks for supporting the young TH-cam Community, it makes a difference.
How I feel about YOUR videos: you inspire me, you give solid encouragement, you speak TRUTH ON LOVE, and I just see you as a TH-cam angel 👼Roberto Asking people how they feel about my videos is a great advice 🌟🌟🌟🌟🌟
I just started uploading videos last week and i have a lot to improve but i learned A LOT about the work process and thanks to you i understand the back end of running a channel thanks for all your videos
you have helped me a lot, thank you so much, I gained 37 sub's with only two videos on my brand new channel in less than a month by listening to your advice. so thankful for you.
I have been on TH-cam for about 11 years. I started as a private channel just for a few friends but in December I decided to really put in some effort and try to make better videos and get subscribers. I am really enjoying your videos. You have excellent information and tips.
Great tips. You give great advice! Thanks for sharing. So far I have 7 subs, 28 videos and started to post videos twice a week...I am patient and know it takes time to gain more viewers....
You're so right. I'm new to making TH-cam videos, but I've always been a creator 'trying to make it' in life, and I've had loads of knocks but never given up because I figure that I never know when I'm finally gonna make it, and if I give up I will never ever know if I was ever gonna make it. I feel your videos like this give me support. Thank you for that 😀

Seems like every single one of your videos I watch, there's at least one thing I thought I knew that you're just like "nope that's stupid." So glad I found your channel while I'm still very early on in this.
Jan. 1st 2019 I had 3 subscribers. Now 64 videos later, I have 40. Not complaining. I'm just perplexed because I see others with similar topic content but really no better than anything I'm doing and they have more subscribers in shorter a time with less uploads.
I swear your "investing in things that actual matter" point just made me feel like such a failure, I know that wasn't intentional, but I definitely have to revampe my entire strategy.

Hi Robert, I am a beginner TH-camr (channel being about 16 days old) and started my channel as a birthday gift to my wife - she challenged me to it. I made a mistake in branding at first but now I have started working on it more and I am getting my channel in a better shape. Though if I would have known from start I would have been able to continue my TH-cam journey better.
Trying to grow my new lifestyle & beauty channel. I realize this niche is over saturated on TH-cam now...but I’ve been wanting to this for 10 years and am only finally just getting started now 😢😓 sigh Thank you for this video & for all your tips ♥️
I always enjoy your videos. Part of my growth is credited to you and your free ebook. I'd recommend this channel yo everyone who is serious about becoming a TH-camr.
Roberto Blake The most important part of The ebook to me is Tip #3, The 3 C's "Creativity, Consistency, and Context." And Tip #4 "Become a great storyteller." I'm trying pair those tips with #6 "Build a Community"
Thanks for the tips... My 2 year old loves TH-cam so we started a channel. Focusing on cooking, toys, and travel... We will be using ALL of your tips as the situation arises 👍🏽👍🏽

Thanks for the reassurance! It's easy to forget that everyone starts at zero, especially when you see big TH-camrs getting a million per video.
True ^

Love how u speak. U don't use a lot of fluff, just basic facts
Exactly! That's all we need :)
I honestly do not like when people go on each channel to spam on everyone’s space. It feels like they are just using you.

I have been on TH-cam for about 11 years. I started as a private channel just for a few friends but in December I decided to really put in some effort and try to make better videos and get subscribers. I am really enjoying your videos. You have excellent information and tips.

Amazing tips! New TH-camr here from Scotland 💙 Just posted my first video yesterday and these tips have been super helpful thank you 💙
Ive been frustrated with my channel because other youtubers with similar content are growing faster even though I have had my channel longer. Your video is the bomb. Ill be taking my head outta my butt now. Thanks for the advice.
KC Crain I just finished stalking your channel, I'm subscribing
I don't have 0 views or subs but it kinda feels like it sometimes. Now any channel like mine with less than 1k subs is basically nothing. *sigh*
Chiha your lucky man, id be happy to have 700 subs. My gaming channel only has 16 subs bro. Keep grinding man.
I wanna consider paying for TH-cam ads to boost my subs and views
Seems like every single one of your videos I watch, there's at least one thing I thought I knew that you're just like "nope that's stupid."
So glad I found your channel while I'm still very early on in this.
Jan. 1st 2019 I had 3 subscribers. Now 64 videos later, I have 40. Not complaining. I'm just perplexed because I see others with similar topic content but really no better than anything I'm doing and they have more subscribers in shorter a time with less uploads.
SagiCat keep grinding! 💯Just subbed!
Keep going keep flowing
You definitely have some of the TH-cam advice out here!!! Like for real!
Thank you for the advice
I swear your "investing in things that actual matter" point just made me feel like such a failure, I know that wasn't intentional, but I definitely have to revampe my entire strategy.
This video did help me! Thanks!!!👌even though I only have six subs😆
I keep coming back to this video! I'm way past 0 subscribers but haven't been consistently uploading over the years, so every upload now feels like I'm starting from the beginning again.

I’m reviewing a lot of your videos. I’m really trying to do the work. I. lol address the strategy piece this week. Thank you.

Paul Frazier Vlogs Hi yourself! Are you working through Roberto’s info?
Hi Robert, I am a beginner TH-camr (channel being about 16 days old) and started my channel as a birthday gift to my wife - she challenged me to it. I have a day-job but have found seriously found a passion in producing my TH-cam videos so far. I have watched many TH-cam educators' videos already and came across yours and have been really impressed by your message. I have almost fallen into so many of the traps you have identified (tempted to pay for subs etc). Thanks for giving me focus and encouraging me to be patient. Keep up the great work!
Great tips, I'm at 29 subs... growing slow, I'm staying positive
Don't give up and stay consistent!
I made a mistake in branding at first but now I have started working on it more and I am getting my channel in a better shape. Though if I would have known from start I would have been able to continue my TH-cam journey better.
Trying to grow my new lifestyle & beauty channel. I realize this niche is over saturated on TH-cam now...but I’ve been wanting to this for 10 years and am only finally just getting started now 😢😓 sigh
Thank you for this video & for all your tips ♥️
good luck!

I always enjoy your videos. Part of my growth is credited to you and your free ebook. I'd recommend this channel yo everyone who is serious about becoming a TH-camr.
What was the most important part of the ebook for you?
Roberto Blake The most important part of The ebook to me is Tip #3, The 3 C's "Creativity, Consistency, and Context." And Tip #4 "Become a great storyteller."
I'm trying pair those tips with #6 "Build a Community"
whenever I felt down, I watched your videos, keeping working on making my videos. Thanks for sharing these tips! they are very helpful!!
