I love having an everything journal its just how my brain works lol. I've learned so much about myself over the last year and what i do and dont like. Little things like preferring a soft cover over hard or disc over spiral ring books. Not needing a seperate planner for work. It's fun to try things and evolve.
Yes!🙌🏼 I find that a lot of focus is put on finding the perfect size and setup (planner-journal peace?) but I’ve discovered that I prefer being open ended in the sizes, leathers, and notebooks I use. When I’m done with what I’m using now, I get to pick all new things (I have a giant collection to choose from!)♥️. You’re right, the evolution is so fun!
I love this journal and decided a few months ago I would do the same. I’m working in a B6 slim Nanami paper cafe book. The only thing I haven’t settled on is if I want to memory keep and art journal in it also.
It has been the best decision I’ve made this year! I also spend time trying to decide if I can add additional types of journaling to it😂. I have a B6 slim Nanami waiting for me! I’m glad you’ve been enjoying yours♥️

Haha! We homeschool also. I have lots of random things in my journals that have to do with what we’re learning. For instance, I’d write “hat” and have my kid (whichever one was learning that at the time) write words that rhymed with it. Or random math problems for them to solve. It’s fun to see my high schooler’s handwriting at 4 years old in an old journal. ❤️
Love the name Omnijournal, and I love to see you moving through it so quickly. It will be so satisfying to see it filled and to have one place to refer back to for all of your notes. Each time I see this, I want to try it more. Thank you for sharing, and I look forward to seeing the evolution. 🧡
I like the name too😀. I love knowing that in a month or so I can pick a whole new journal and cover and enjoy something completely different. I’m going to be able to use a lot of my stash again! I hope you give it a go when you’re ready (one book July?).

I went to an omni journal for 2019 but in an A5 stalogy. I think when I've filled it up, I may try a smaller size. The A6, though, looks a bit too small. I've been thinking about a B6 slim TN with the Jibun Techo B6 slim for planning, a single notebook, and a zippered plastic envelope thingy.
This is such a great idea for journaling! I’m finding it a little overwhelming to keep up with the multiple journals (and planners 😁)and thinking I will definitely consolidate for next year but sort of tempted to do so this year. Just don’t want to waste any Hobonichis.. Love the size of your notebook. Thanks for sharing!
That’s always the catch with dated books! I hope you can find a way to work around it. I have a cousin avec set that I gave up on. It’s a prompt journal now that I use when I want-the dates serve as an index/page numbers! Thanks for watching♥️♥️

IMHO, this is scrap booking with notes, photos, drawings, calendar, bullet journaling, and maybe some art or sketching in one package. Not a bad idea, it's an evolution of ideas into one, 'OMNI'.
I will be trying this, I tried Bullet Journaling, but found it dry & too time consuming as a stand alone. This combination feels like it might work. Thanks for your reply & encouragement. @@sarahmartinezjournals
No problem, Larry! Bullet Journaling is what I started with over a year ago and I felt the same as you. I'm satisfied with my Hobonichi A6 for planning, but if I wasn't, I would totally try to include planning in this omni journal too. Best of luck to you!
