as ironic as it is, i doubt its actually greed, i think theyre legitimately just running out of money and resources. you can see it all over this world.
Such a short, bland looking world. There were only like 5 different areas all of which consist of the same empty grasslands. The coolest area is probably Billabong Resort but even there the textures of the forest make MooShu's bamboo look like fine art. After beating the world and going on an alt to play Khrysalis again, its literally night and day with not only the artistic effort but overall effort.
I absolutely agree. Khrysalis was (and still is) such a wonderful, rich, interesting, colorful world (just like Empyrea imho). Peak Wizard101. Wallaru has some cool areas and some great dialogues but It felt really bland, fast and forgettable (Dasein is still one of the best characters tho)
I would definitely recommend checking out the Wallaru sidequest 'wah?' it basically says exactly what you say, so much so I'm shocked they could release the world in this state having made it.
The resort was a cool idea but look at how they just copy and pasted 2D trees in the background. Look at how empty and soulless the inside of the buildings are and compare it to Mirage. With Mirage there was detail in every area. Even when you went inside the Genies lamp it looked lived in and every area expansive. Compare the deserts of Mirage to the ones in Wallaru. Mirage feels like a fully fleshed out world.
Wallaru is definitely a love it or hate it world, I’m definitely leaning love it, it just reminds me of the best parts of the game but I understand the criticism
Theres always something a bit ironic about them jamming a philosophical idea about big corp bad at me while i see the shiny crowns logo in the top left the whole time

ik this vid is 6 months old but ive been thinking of playing wiz again and seeing some of these new worlds just make me want to play the first 2 arcs again and not touch the rest
Hey so I have a question. I am in Dragonspyre currently, and I know if I finish the world I will be locked out of rank 1 spellements. I know that I can farm for rank 2-6 spellements until I beat Celestia. I am wondering if I actually need to upgrade my spells. Espeically if I don't care much about PvP. Maybe I will in the future but even then are they really that important? Will I actually need spellements or will I be just fine if i skip getting them and keep my spells as is? Also, is there anything else that becomes unavailable when I beat Dragonspyre?
You don’t need them for PVE and honestly most of them aren’t worth doing at all. I wouldn’t wait, there’s methods for getting them later down the line if you want them for the completionist aspect, but if your having fun playing through the game I would just do that and avoid the unnecessary grind 🫡
Wallaru is just mid it really reminds me of krokatopia in a werid way but the game play is great and the visual's are great too, also the areas fell really cramped except the outback. Freddy cougar is just a bad villain in general he isn't cool or intimidating even if he was a fully original character he would still be a lame villain.
I haven’t played since like 100 was the max level and I feel the same way about W102 as Reinhardt does, I will not lie. Edit 1: HOLY MOLY, SLORP DRANK POND!!1!1!!1! Edit 2: I wouldn’t be too too surprised if they did an entire character arc with Malistare going from bad to worse to good(?) but hopefully if they do do that, they’ll write it in well. But this is still a kid’s game at the end of the day (at least I think it is?).
I have a death that’s currently stuck in Azteca at level 88 cause the world DRAGGS. Too many defeat and collect quest filler. And I mostly ended up soloing stuff.

But god, he’s the most annoying character ever with the worst cheats. No wonder why he shows up in our nightmare in ark three. Be were of an ice that is demanding tribute on wizard101. If you are an American please leave wizard101 now. Me and many other users have been getting their accounts cracked and taken from them. This also goes the same with uk servers. As of the last few weeks or so I have been trying to fight for an account that was mine that has been taken from me! I imagine other people have been having this done to them as well. There have been terrible things going on around wizard101 where an account had been commandered an account of mine with out my consent and is now running rampent with it. My account when I was away had been messed with to the point where my account had been broken. People have been going after a character named Amber blue flame. Be were of an ice that comes to you demanding tribute. There have been people attacking the account I had trying to take amber blue flame so to its destroyed state of the account that was destroyed by the intruder that commandeered it. I am tired of the abuse of my accounts. You will know that the ice is near you where you see a dove. If the take over of accounts continues I would suggest you leave the games I am tired of this situation I don't want anyone else having to deal with this. Stay out of the pet pavilion they have been harassing and attacking people there. They have been hunting amber blue flame ( my character ) everywhere I went. This game is no longer safe. If anyone declares themselves queen of the game be were they have taken amber blue flame.

It’s funny because some people really didn’t like the philosophical angle, and some did, I enjoyed it personally.
