Imagine if Ambrose actually secretly hates you and he sends you out on a lot of dangerous quests to die but you somehow always end up solving the problems
Celestia is definitely a weird one where it almost feels like filler that could cease to exist and the other worlds later don’t really suffer for it but it also has pretty good world building going on even if it kinda gets dragged down by the comic relief crab empire.
They should have made it more about augmenting the rules of battle, or your own spells. Like placing an aura on the whole arena that changes all Fire damage to storm. Maybe one that enchants spells, but instead of directly upgrading them, it trades off advantages and disadvantages. Like a spell loses it's ability to attack all targets, but it places a heavy weakness on the target afterwards. Or a spell does half damage, but heals you instead.
The spellements aren't a bad addition the bad decision was basically making them pay to get a chance to even upgrade the spells you'll never use after a certain point
As much as I do like the atmosphere and challenge, Celestia is easily my least favorite world from Arc 2. The others are so so so much better, and I can’t wait to hear your thoughts on them (Azteca especially since it’s probably my favorite world in the whole game). PS: Love your videos, probably the best wizard101 content on all of TH-cam.
I can 100% agree. For a beginning of an arc two-story, it’s much longer compared to wizard city. Others might like long stores but Celestia took too much of my time and I’m not even done with it yet
I don't get how anyone can hate Celestia, the design and atmosphere is so awesome and cool, the galaxy/alien vibe paired with the underwater station is really magnificent imo. Plus you get a lot of exp per quest (compared to Dragonspyre which is really bad in that aspect)
Krokotopia, is that a Warhammer Fantasy reference for the Lizardmen? Also 1:37 you mean Ghosts, which had his VA replaced for another person with a lot more personality
The sandwich guy is a dog that sends you to give a treat to his pet dog... and apparently a zebra man thinks its a good idea to potentially use lethal force on a dog in the dog city, wtf?
If you are questing on a death and also want to use scarecrow (your 7 pip aoe) in the 2nd round just empower then scarecrow saved me so much time but you need decent gear/pet to one shot mobs 2nd round all way to avalon
i do love the theme music in celestia and honestly it gets stuck in my head still even though i haven't been there in months. and the variety in scenery is really cool, the underwater parts and the beach/above water parts

Hey dude, like instead of spending money on spellments, maybe put that time into a better pet and gear. Triple damage pet goes a long way in increasing damage.
Yesterday with my 8th wiz 2nd fire lvl 54 i did trail of spheres solo. Stats decent with a good pet triple double dmg crit. flet once else didn't die 1's. Quite a huge challenge against all odds. I enjoy taking the fight up solo if i believe i can do it with enough preparation spells wise.

You do know that you can get enchants earlier if you go on a castle tour to arcanum apartments and leave out the door… you end up in the arcanum

Celestia is my favorite world (coming from someone that hasn’t gotten past zafaria). I j think it’s a great change of pace after dragon spire.
