- This is my gameplay of the first 5 missions (Chapter I) from "Star Wars: Rogue Squadron 3D" for the PC. No cheats were used and the Naboo Starfighter was added in the latest update of this game.
Star Wars theme in the intro is muted due to copyright.

It took me months (literally) to figure out how to "use your harpoons and tow cables" when I was a kid 😅

as a kid i never got past the Corellia mission since i never figured out the tow cables

One of the greatest Star Wars games ever made. My father bought it for me when I was little and he taught me how to play when I was about 4. If they could remake this masterpiece I would probably cry. I remember countless hours of running through canyons and blowing up tatooine moisture collectors. 10/10 great game.
Frankly, I think this game handled better than Battlefront (2016)

This was the first game I played on my first computer. I was turning my head to right and left without noticing while playing this and it was quite a scene for those who watch me playing lol.
those n64 games werent even translated in other languages. I remember me as a kid, unable to read the instructions, flying around like a headless chicken, killing shit and understanding nothing of what I was doing. Still enjoyed the game.
To get gold's u really had to be a ace pilot with accuracy and kill all enemies even the small trips and almost every building or turret. True completionast stuff for gold
The nostalgia is UNREAL. Would 100% buy this again. Spent so much time playing this as a kid! Loved it

When I play this on PC the ships shake around violently and some of the ships textures pop in and out at random. Are you using specific settings or a program to make it run right?

I remember I used to watch my dad play this, always used to get scared if he was going to die in the game, must of been about 5 years old when he played it.
The same here. It was the only game he played. I was 14-15 back then. He was quite good at that.
My Dad introduced me to Star Wars when I was about 4, we got this game and I was so bad at it but we would play it together for hours.
Loved it. The sounds and music are so nostalgic!

I had the demo for the first level and I must have played that like a million times. "Good morning Wedge, the rest of Rogue Squadron is back at base but I thought we could take an early morning run through Beggars Canyon." runs through my head like once a day.

Mmm nope you couldn't play as an AT ST in this one, it was on GC version (Rebel strike). But yeah would be awesome for that time

Haha this is the game I played when I went to the hospital after suffering a major injury, nothing better but having the greatest star wars space battle game ever to play on the bed, made my recovery when better

I had never known what was i supposed to do in the 3rd level with the A wing. 6 year old me didnt understand the mission. I was learning very basic english at that age. Now i have closure. I always wondered how the rest of the missions would have looked
If I'm remembering well,I do every mission for a gold medal (accuracy, time, etc),and then we can play a secret Death star mission + we can use the millenum falcon... Good old memories :)

There was also a cheat code for Millenium falcon! And for a Tie fighter, but that really sucked

The first mission cringed me out endlessly... I know that it's stupid to look for logic in games, but seriously. Those 6 TIE-bombers would turn Mos-Eisley into molten slag with those bombs.

0:56 yes, you can. Flip X and Y axis.
Games were just better back then... just listen to those sounds of the X-Wing lasers... it's as nostalgic as picking up stuff (weapons, energy) in Dark Forces

How did you install? My PC's 64 bit, but it says that you need 32bit

I'm booting on the game menu fine but the screen freeze at different point before starting the mission.
I wish so bad the code could be open so we could fix all the issues it has on today's hardware.
Hands down the BEST game of the franchise i tried (and I've been playing since the DOS ones like Tie Fighter)

Bought it on Steam but can´t get it to work. There is a problem with a "HAL", anybody has a clue what to do?
