At this point, the only team-ups that would make sense in a new RE game are Chris/Jill, Leon/Claire or maybe Claire/Sherry (and to some extent Chris/Claire or Chris/Leon). These characters have good chemistry amongst them and have worked together previously. It doesn't make sense to create new alliances such as Leon/Jill, there's simply no chemistry there. For the series to continue, their best bet is to bring back familiar alliances such as Jill/Chris, or to simply introduce new characters to the RE verse and give them their own story arcs (ex. Ethan Winters) with the possibility of older characters taking support roles (RE Village).
I personally think that they should add Leon and Jill in the game with each character has its own story same as RE2 and also include a/b scenarios but the main thing is that for Jill there’s a small section where u play as Chris and for Leon u play as Claire same as RE2 that would be dope.
Leon has become the face of resident evil ever since re4 remake. If capcom wants to make easy money they would make him the main character again very soon.
I think too ! Resident Evil 2 REmake is the Best seller in the franchise, and the remake of Resident Evil 4 has a very big success since his unleashed ! Resident Evil 9 must include Leon, specially because he is the RE the most ambitious of the series. Wait and see... 😊
Needs to be Chris. Main character in 1, CVX, 5,6 and was playable in 7&8. 2 was about Claire looking for him and 3 happened at the same time as Chris was missing other wise he’d probably be the main character in every game except number 4.
I really hope it's Jill valentine not Leon s Kennedy because he was in resident evil 4 remake. It should be Jill valentine teaming with Chris redfield and Jill valentine teaming with rosemary winters investigating blue umbrella after what happened at the end of resident evil village with Mia winters helping them out for campaign 1 and campaign 2 could be Rebecca chambers and Barry Burton teaming up and we could maybe run into billy coen and find out where's he been since the end of resident evil zero
They should have Billy Cohen show up in resident evil 9 to help out the main characters when they are stuck and cant get out of the situation theyre in just one time and then leave like a bad ass
8:13-8:18 I think all six of them should appear. Even if all of them do not appear in the main game. They can do two or three DLCS if they all can’t appear in the main game . Leon and Jill can be the main characters. This may sound like RE6 but it can also be like Outbreak but have the stories intertwine with each character can keep the player select from RE1-RE2.
I really like the idea of having multiple scenarios with multiple characters but the way RE6 played out really has me wary about it, although if done right theoretically it could be amazing!
I would personally like to see a new character in the likes of RE7 but with Jill taking the place of someone like Zoe / Chris and then have a DLC that expands on her side of the story / everything since re5
They need to use leon and have the old characters involved in the game where they all meet in one place at some point. Keep the slow zombies and original monsters everyone likes and just make it free roam style and scary as f in a ghost town
Before I share my thoughts and opinions I wanna say you got me laughing when you said that Barry is basically a senior citizen 😅 As for re9,I’m the same with what I was saying all this time. I want Jill to return and I also do think she just deserves it as well. She doesn’t have a new story since re5. Pause on that . Re5 in 2009. Always prequels both with rev1 and even death island that gave us an update is ..a prequel cause we know nothing about where she is today and what happened between re5 and death island. Leon yes is very popular but so it’s Jill. You get that if Leon didn’t have all this exposure back to back and staying relevant he wouldn’t be that popular and Chris or Jill or Claire had his place, they would. Leon and Jill were always top 2 in that aspect. I don’t hate Leon but he’s not the priority. What does make sense even with village and the ending of course with Chris is Jill even teaming up with him. Having two campaigns like re1 or re2 with Jill and Chris would be perfect. I certainly don’t want to play as some Chinese lady. I’m a guy so I prefer to play as leon, Chris or hunk, If I was a girl I’d prefer to play as Jill or Claire, because I like to relate to my character and feel like my character.
@@sethvalentine2873 I want a team up of those 2 100% I’m just discussing what makes sense story wise with how Village ended, Leon and Jill are my favorite characters.
There is actually a very tragic reason why Claire Redfield has become so much of a humanitarian and is almost blindly, following her path of being a humanitarian even going against logic This was perfectly pointed out in the death island movie, where Dylan himself was not fully sure why only Claire is not willing to put her life on the line, like everyone else to fight bioterror, where Dylan hence that Claire is a coward I have peace together this tragedy, and this is the only explanation that counts for each and every strange behavior of Claire Redfield since the time we saw her as an action hero There is no other explanation that takes 17 years of strange behavior into account The conclusion is that if Claire Redfield is in resident evil nine in any capacity, the ending that will make the most sense is that if Claire Redfield dies in the end My question will be that does Claire ever come to terms with her tragedy before dying or not. This is because every movie and game has shown that even after 17 years, Claire is the only person who has not come to terms with a biohazard specific tragedy
@@McStan Thanks for the response. But I feel they have to, as do many other people. In fact, in a poll, people said if a main character were to die in RE9, the majority wanted it to be Claire. And from a story perspective, this is the only thing that makes sense. The story (that no one else seems to understand for some strange reason) Capcom is implicitly saying with Claire's strange behavior (four times in Death Island, 24 times in total) is that she has not come to terms with a particular incident. This suffering has to mean something. So let me ask you, if you know what I'm talking about? How would you continue/end Claire's story Does she ever come to terms with losing Steve?
@ The problem with Claire is she hasn’t really been done justice, I feel in order to make her a better character we need a Code Veronica remake because honestly I didn’t feel the connection with her and Steve while playing it so for me losing Steve shouldn’t have impacted her like it did in the films. I’m not against a main character dying even if it is Claire but I do think killing a more impactful character like Chris, Jill, or Leon would make more sense having them go out like a hero. Think if Claire dies that would probably mean we get another grumpy depressed Chris and no one wants that again lol. So personally I think before we even think of killing off Claire we need that Code Veronica remake.
@@McStan So you see it. This is the one thing that EVERY PERSON I came across kept missing. The defining moment in Claire's life was losing Steve. Go back in Code Veronica, Steve's death hit her so hard, that she nearly lost the will to fight (if you carefully focus on her body language, facial expressions and vocal tone after Steve's death, and compare it to before Steve's death). Hell, she couldn't even show a single shread of genuine happiness when she was escaping with Chris, her only real family, after searching for him for several months. In fact, the HAPPIEST we ever see her was when she was escaping with STEVE, not Chris, not Sherry. And the impact of this is evident throughout, ESPECIALLY in Degeneration and Revelations 2, where she has shown to remember EVERY WORD he said, when he said it, and also actually hallucinated in Degeneration, SEVEN YEARS after he died... for a guy that even she knew for just one day! The evidence is there, the connections are there. Hell, in Revelations 2, there's an actual part where you can physically see that Claire tries to say Steve's name, but no matter how much you turn up the volume, you can't hear anything, meaning that Claire is suppressing Steve's memory very hard, and it impacted her so severely, that after 13 years, Claire can't even audibly say his name. The lack of a connection between Claire and Steve is part of the horrible execution of Code Veronica that I keep mentioning. However, if we can accept Leon and Ada as a thing, despite even worse execution (Leon interacted with Ada even less than Claire interacted with Steve) then we should not have a problem accepting the Claire and steve thing. As for a Code Veronica remake, my problem is that the remake timeline wrote Claire to be a mary sue. The original arc of Claire where a love story that ended in tragedy was used to make Claire go from mentally strong to mentally broken, that won't work with a Mary Sue character. That being said, in Claire's next appearence, they really have to build the suppressed memories surfacing, and Claire slowly reflecting on them, monologuing why she eventually also started to love Steve too, and just when it felt like Claire was starting to recover, she ends up dying, and she is at least happy that she'll get to see Steve again... something like that IMO. Because, all this suffering of Claire has to mean something. Anyways, I hope you watched and enjoyed my Claire Redfield analysis videos.
