Berserk...its not just a manga/show...idk if ill ever be able to witness the end but im grateful to whatever the fuck controls the universe that it led me experience the most beautiful world ever created...ive watched movies, binge watched shows , read books... but berserk....i lived it , i experienced it... berserk has definitely made a huge impact on my life and no matter what i watch / read i dont think there's anything that'd kick out the impact that berserk left on my heart..... thankyou miura for showing me the true way of life....rest in peace 🕊️

Kentaro sacrificed half of his life line to make a deal with the apostles that he would show their reign in full glory and would make them great and all he wanted in return was what you feel for the story .

Never mind whole Manga is 10/10 but till volume 12-13 it is something that i would say “PEAK”

For me, Berserk is the greatest animanga ever made. Golden age arc is simply a masterpiece and everybody should read it.
Btw, Berserk 1997 is also very decent adaptation of it. After reading, make sure to watch the anime too.

@@Aman.raj9815 Even if VAGABOND is my fav I will still say that it's a wrong statement because the detailing in the art of Berserk is just so good and visually appealing that no other manga can surpass it although VAGABOND is very close second too it

Video was good but I can't help but want this to be a deeper dive into Golden Age's theme but I felt the script itself was conflicted at times with 3 things.
Talking about Plot, Talking about characters, Talking about Themes and these 3 clashed a lot. Maybe I was having my expectations a bit too high but alas I'm good with what I got but can't help but think this could have been better.

Berserk starts with the Black Swordsman Arc (Vol. 1-3) and then the Golden Age Arc (Vol. 4 - 14). I hope Rajat did not make the classic mistake of starting with the Golden Age Arc. One has a very different perspective of Guts, depending on the Arc one chooses to start from. I hope Rajat actually started with the Black Swordsman Arc and just choose to skip the review of it. The Black Swordsman Arc is the actual timeline of the story, whereas the Golden Age Arc is a big Flashback Arc, which gives context to GUTS' character and the continues with the Conviction Arc (the actual timeline).
Irrelevant but please do Visual Novel reviews please. It'd be amazing to have more people find out and experience the amazing source material of masterpieces like Steins;Gate, Fate/stay night or the When they cry series

I think griffith was weaker than the other band members prior to eclipse, he lost physically to guts, could not handle emotionally the departure of guts unlike judeau, who gave up on casca respecting casca'a platonic feelings, and to casca too, the only identity that kept her going was the dedication to the band and worship for griffith despite knowing that griffith would not acknowledge her as an woman, but she finally gave up on that false facade she created around herself and finally came to terms with her feelings for guts thus acknowledging herself as a woman and not as a mercenary who cannot be weak . But griffith could never accept his weakness and to run away from that, he ended up rap*ng the princess.
