In Louisiana, we've gotten the mild and mellow 6% version, since 2003. No, they're only discontinuing the black label "Triple Export" version of this.

great video brian, really looking forward to more malt liquor reviews. I was excited to try steel reserve as I have enjoyed some other malt liquors like King Cobra and Colt 45 and steel's reputation preceded it. The sweetness really threw me off, almost like it came pre-skunked. not worth it, even for a joke.

You and I have very different taste buds. I had my first steel reserve 211 just recently and it tasted a great deal like light beer, but less bitter. It was not sugary or like corn syrup at all. In fact, almost all beers do not taste good to me, and this one was one of the least offensive to me.
Malt liquor is a lot like light beer. It goes down smoothly and is not bitter. But with a lot more ABV. Cheers!

I looked up a review and found this and definitely subscribing, its 40oz friday so i had to grab a 42oz. The pineapple steel is probably the best. I usually drink cheap vodka everyday but im trying to slow down for myself and God so I've been back to this. Thankfully I don't ever get headaches man! Lol. Gonna watch some more of your videos for sure.

I wish I had one of these while you were reviewing it. I had to settle for Labatt Ice. Was this the 6% or 8.1% version? I couldn't tell from your label.

Flavored malt liquor is hard to find. But maybe that's a good thing for our health. :)

I don't know about the cans here we have the big 42 ounce plastic bottles....drank a few in past but recently poured in one of those red solo cups,and if let sit for a minute the weirdest thing happens....in a perfect circle looks like a bunch of those virus or germs you see in them sliding glass or what ever from science class. Once I seen it I tried several times and the same..what are they really selling us?

This can be enjoyable at 6% abv. Based on TH-cam malt liquor videos, it seems malt liquor is slowly going away as some variants are getting hard to find.

I've gotten so used to the taste now im 25 and the taste cant even bother me honestly
I still enjoyed the taste of malt liquor at 25. I was done by 27.🤪
