Same in Wisconsin. 2017 we were doin the same thing. Wettest years we’ve had in a very long time. We were chopping fields that had 4 inches of standing water
I'm a farmer in illinois, i've been cleaning on a Case IH 550 Quadtrak all morning that was in similar conditions. Its a nightmare and takes forever. It doesn't matter how much you wash, more mud will always run out of the tracks or somewhere. You just can't get it perfect.
@@randlerichardson5826 Yea, that's actually a silage chopper. They are high horsepower machines cause they are made to cut corn when it is still green. Takes a lot of power. I farm in Illinois and we use what would be considered a traditional combine.
An 8370r and an 8530 are around the same horsepower. If they used the "Bigger one" then it would not be able to pull out other tractors, especially if it ended up getting stuck with the wagon as well.
That 8530 sound😍
😂😂😂😂

Great effort considering. Challenging is an understatement
Going to be a lot of clean up and tillage work to do when it finally dries up to prepare for the next year. Would be a nightmare.
Good work😉
I would like to see how they clean up all machines again

Do you always take silage corn off that dry or was it because of the conditions?
I’m just wondering if the combines are four wheel drive???
yes, most are. Didn't use to be tho.
Tyler Johnson thank you I figured they were but wasn’t sure.

Tyler Johnson yeah the ones that still cut silage here use the old school kinds
Tyler Johnson it’s been years since I’ve seen a bigtime farming operation around here in TN.
Why not just use big jd instead of towing little 1
